Miguel, is that Brian Simmons the OG from Oklahoma? Interesting if it is. Came out this year after a solid career and a strong pro day but went undrafted because a foot was deformed, I believe. One of his feet is a size 15 and one is a size 18, I think. I think the troubled foot grew down and in. I'm sure I have the details a little mixed up here, but if this is the kid, I recall him being a hardworking, intelligent, effective OG and I would be glad to see the kid get a shot here.

Too bad for Holt. I really wanted to see him on the field this season catching passes from T. Brady. That sucks!

This definitely opens the door for Price and Tate to really step up..

Didn't see a thread about this. Sucks that he's done for the year. This is the year that youth will be served, be it one way or another apparently.

I was really looking forward to him being on the field catching passes from T. Brady, but ah well. We have to move forward with the young talent we have on the team now.

According to Schefter and Reiss, Holt has a knee injury that requires surgery. This could be the end of Holt's career.

You can't cut a vested veteran who suffers an injury during practice.
