Colts notebook: Tight end Clark leaves practice with leg injury

Clark was taken to a treatment tent near the practice field, finally emerging with a wrap around his upper left leg. He didn't return to practice and left a few minutes early on a cart.

People on the Colts forum that were at the practice said that it was a high leg injury and could possibly be the quad which, if bad enough, could hamper Clark throughout the season. Apparently Gonzalez also suffered an injury in practice this week which they were saying is bad. Nothing concrete on this yet since the Colts are just as stingy as we are with their injury reports.

And the Super Bowl losers curse is in full swing :scared:

Should I say Yay?

I don't wish injuries on ANYBODY (not even Joey Porter), but I have to say that I really wouldn't mind it if the defense didn't have to cover him. He is annoying to play against.

I dont wish injuries on any one either but there are some players that I dont feel bad for if an injury does happen.

I've seen nothing to determine that Dallas Clark is in any way a bad person. Too bad he's hurt. I don't want the Colts fans to have the luxury of leaning on that as an excuse when we beat them this year.

If Clark stays out for any extended period of time who does Manning throw under the bus given he's his Wes Welker?

Not unless you count getting ejected from the gym at a girls' high school basketball game for screaming relentlessly at an official.

Never heard about that. Oh well...

Doesn't matter. They'll always find someone or something to throw under the bus.

Yup.... It seems to be an inbred thing with the entire Colts Organization. Everyone there is looking for someone else to blame for whatever goes wrong. No one can just stand up and say hey... it's on me. I dropped that ball, or, I missed that throw.

That's the sort of crap that Karma just loves to hear... :rocker:

Hope he is ok, as when we beat them soundly do not want to give the Colts any excuses for their loss.

Exactly. We'll hear enough whining as it is. :D

Neither have I, but that is probably because Colts news goes over my head :)

Unless its about players being out passed out in a ditch on their day off ;)
