I have no problem with that... people in business meetings should pay attention.

Where does he come up with these odd numbers? Why not $1,500 or whatever.

Is he trying to piss off his players or is it just his natural personality?

In 1760, the great fire of Boston occured. 349 buildings were destroyed. Coincidence? ;)

Connecticut, where he went to school, for example the fine for littering is $219 dollars.

I think the CBA's limit for such fines started out at $1500 (or some other round number), followed by annual percentage limit increases. Basically, it's the maximum the CBA allows him to fine them.

lol... that is a bit messed up

What a ****.

That signature quote is priceless Nikolai. God Borges is such a dumbass.

Poor Mangini isn't learning from prior experience. Is he really that thick?

Seems reasonable to me. Don't want to be fined, turn off your ******* phone. Nice guy? I don't give a ****. Good father? **** you! Go home and play with your kids. You wanna play here - play! You think this is abuse? You think this is abuse, you ****sucker? You can't take this, how can you take the abuse you get on a pass rush? You don't like it, leave.

$1750 would have been a better number! What will the extra $10 do?

So if that's the maximum fine, what room does that give him when someone does something REALLY bad?

A fine is alright, but as per usual, it sounds like he went too far. What an idiot. I hate that guy.

Mangini has b00bs

I don't know if I agree with the amount he fined the player, but yeah. Cell phone usage and even cell phone ringing in meetings is very disruptive and disrespectful, really, to everyone else in the room. If you're going to try to build a sense of professionalism, then the players (and coaches) should be required to have their cell phones off or silent.

i lived in connecticut all my life and did not know that lol
The last couple of times i've driven though conn. to get to the beach i've seen it on signs. Last year i think i googled it and found out why they came up with $219 but can't remember why. I mean why not just round it up to $220.
