During many periods of Patriots History We have enjoyed a very stable kicking situation lead by the likes of Gino Cappaletti,John Smith,Tony Franklin,Matt Bahr,Adan Vinatieri, and now Steve Gostkowski.
We have also gone through stages when the kicking situation was a revolving door.Let's try to compile a list of those "other guys" who have worn our fingernails down to the nub.I think some of the names on this list will surprise You.Let's get started After Gino some of the luminaries included,Charlie Gogolak who was a pretty good kicker,Nick Lowrey, yes the same Nick Lowrey who starred in Kansas City but at the time was a recent Dartmouth Graduate who was working as a bartender at Fathers in Harvard Square and had worked until 2 AM the night before He began his Patriots Career at 1PM Sunday Afternoon. There was a guy named Posey ( I can use some help here) who on a snowy afternoon against Buffalo Kicked The Patriots into The Playoffs. There was Mike Superfoot" Walker, and Scott Missin Sisson. Can anyone else name a few?
