Will have to hire help to carry that $43M guarantee to the bank, too...

Maybe Tebow can fill in...

That sucks for the Broncos and Elvis. They are having a rash of injuries during camp.

That has to hurt, hopefully for the Bronco's he does not follow the advice of Jacoby...

Torn pectoral SUCKS. After it's fully healed, he's going to have to do one armed dumbbell presses starting at around 10-20 lbs. until he can get his strength back up in that one side of his body. I'm not a doctor, but I have to think this will end his season. The rehab process is long enough as it is. Sucks even more for the Broncos because they just backed up the Brinks truck to give him his new deal.

I was pretty vocal about my doubts as to whether or not Tebow could someday become a professional quarterback. So far, he has proven me wrong. His mechanics have totally changed from his time at Florida and his passes look much more crisp (as opposed to the ducks he threw at The Swamp). If anybody can help him succeed, it's McDaniels.

This REALLY sucks for the Donkeys. Sounds like a VERY painful injury.

Adam Schefter (Adam_Schefter) on Twitter
Ten years ago i ruptured a bicep tendon, in June of this year i ruptured Both triceps. In both cases it didn't hurt when it happened, it felt like a rubber band snapping, and in both cases i was working out. It was hours later that it really started to become very painful especially with the triceps, but with the aid of percocet and a couple of drinks, i was able to get comfortable.

Bummer. I'm kinda a Denver fan/follower (I know, I know, shoot me) since JMcD went there to train for his eventual HC of the NEP job when BB retires.

... though I do feel sorry for the guy, I don't like seeing players injured as it could happen to us as well.

How on earth do you rupture both triceps? Were you doing 200 lb skullcrushers or something?

We gotta count on Matty and Charlie and RAC now...

I don't know, from what I've gleaned mostly off twitter reports and the like, while he's idolized by the fan base and universally embraced by his teamates, he still can't remotely compete at the position due to inaccuracy and inconsistency.

I've probably watched more of him than anybody else here. I HIGHLY doubt accuracy is his problem. Even when his mechanics were a train wreck, he was very accurate. Inconsistency, however, comes with the territory when your mechanics are being re-worked. Regardless, though, nobody should be expecting Tebow to come out and set the world on fire this year. He's a project and I think McDaniels probably knew that in the back of his mind when he took him.

Hypothetical here: let's assume that JMcD could go back in time to February 2009. Do you think he would have made a bigger push for Cassel?

Behind the head triceps extension. I had warmed up and was using a 70lb dumb bell (this wasn't a lot of wgt. for me).I was sitting on a curl bench facing the other way, using the bench to support by back. There was no warning the resistance felt good, around the third or fourth rep it felt like someone slapped me on the back of my triceps, i felt the right one snap then the left. I was able to bring the wgt. over my head and drop it. I knew what happened and went to the ER right away. Had surgery on the RT. arm about five weeks ago, the LT. will be Aug. 18. I asked the specialist/surgeon what might have happened he said wear and tear. I remember Konta posting this really long work out that he does, this is what could happen to you Kontra if you don't scale back. A bilateral triceps rupture is very rare, i was told there are only Half a dozen other cases that have been reported. In two of the cases (i'm the third) the same exercise was involved.

I thought that Denver's defense was going to have a bad year WITH Dumerville on it....Now I see them having even worse of a year and the Raiders will vault up to 2nd best in this division behind SD.

Message received. I'm an older guy, just a bit over Welker sized and post surgery recovery I was about to scale up my tricepts weight. Not anymore.

One other thing Pissah, the physical therapist told me the other day that 70 lbs was a lot of wgt for that Particular exercise. I would just stay away from doing that exercise. Maybe it isolates the muscle group to well and puts a lot of stress on the tendon by stretching across the bone. For example using a cable machine is much safer, and should pose no problem. Plus i've been lifting regularly for over thirty years thats a lot of wear and tear

The DR. told me that ruptures are common between the ages of 40-60, so i said "wow, just four more years and it wouldn't of happened" (I'm 56) He said "yeah, you would have broken your hip picking up the wgt. instead". :D

I know Raiders have Campbell, but don't get carried away ;)
