Didn't Addai play a great first half in the SB and they abandoned him?

Big Head Idiot.

Big Head Idiot.

That's how I remember it. :confused2: Guess I'll have to fire up the DVR and watch the 1st half again, instead of only the onside kick to pick six awesomeness of the 2nd like usual. :D

Maybe the team says nothing for fear Payaton will throw them under a Train instead of a Bus

Once he gets his new deal they won't be able to afford a train or a bus. They'll be sharing a cab lashed to his LearJet...

That OL is steamed. Unfortunately I don't think they have enough talent to use that as motivation...and with Manning's deal hanging over them it's not likely they can supplement the position. And this will be the real transition year in Indy as the consultants/coordinators have actually finally, fully retired. Will be interesting to watch Peyton navigate a season absent Moore and Mudd with the mere shadow of silent strength puppeting at the helm. If Schobel lands in Texas as anticipated, could be another tough blame gaming season for the Colts beleagured OL.

That's totally out of character for Peyton Manning to blame everybody but himself. Soon he'll blame Archie for not preparing him to perform in the post-season by teaching him incorrect mental technique when he was 6.

Although I would never see Brady throwing his teammates under the bus like this, I think Manning is right. The Colts have two first round draft picks as their RB tandem and I probably wouldn't take them over any of our RBs if our RBs could stay healthy. After a magnificent start his first year and a half, Addai has been awful since. People want to complain about Maroney, but I wouldn't trade the two straight up in a million years. All you have to do is look at both RBs' production since the Colts played the Pats in November of 2007 and you will see Maroney has clearly been the better RB. Donald Brown isn't any better.

Everyone praises the Colts for their drafts and how they rarely miss, but it looks like they missed on two first rounders.

Moore and Mudd gone didn't know that, i think that will be a big blow to the team and Manning in particular.

I'm always amazed how Peytie manages to get away with this type of thing then walk away basically unscathed:cool:

Are you hinting that Manning should be criticizing Polian (whose recent OL drafting hasn't panned out much better)... I'd pay to see that. Nah, they will just take turns lobbing grenades at every else in the mix not named Peyton or Bill...or Jim.

You have a point there, Rob. As much as I complain about Maroney, I've posted on a Colts board before. Most of their fans say they'd take Maroney over Addai easily. Addai must really suck.

Donald Brown was a stupid pick. Of course, since it was the Colts, ESPN said it was "vintage smart Colts pick" even though they didn't need to draft a RB, let alone the first round. Same with Jerry Hughes this year. Dwight Freeney and Robert Mathis not enough?

That owes to the bandwagon culture in Indianapolis which includes the media there, and the team's image as white-hat good guys.

Gotta luve this fan response in the comments:

"That's what makes Peyton Manning the great leader he is. He's always eager to give his teammates all the credit when the team fails."

I wish that idiot Colts fan (Cartwright) was still around so I can throw this at him. Manning definitely could have said that better. Polian, the ass that he is, even words it better and points out the O-Line's run blocking flaws. I guess Peyton feels that he's thrown the O-Line under the bus enough and needs to concentrate on another area of the Colts offense.

And they say Pats fans are the KoolAid drinkers...:bricks:

That is classic.. wish I could think of things like that.

Not sure if you are joking, but Peyton kinda has a history of throwing everybody else under the bus, as does Polian...

It's funny how Peyton get's all the credit for calling his own plays and yet in the first half of the SB addai was averaging about 5 yards per carry yet Peyton went away from the run for some reason and yet he still has the audacity to call out the running game, someone is trying desperately to cover up the fact the he choked big time.

The first drive, and the second drive of the 2nd half, fall into the area that Manning is talking about. It doesn't apply for the rest of the game.

Manning, as is his wont, is deflecting blame away from himself by throwing others under the bus, regardless of whether they deserve it there or not.
