OT: Dez Bryant injured

How many times did the Pats pass on him in the draft? Was it 3 times?
BB sure did avoid a huge headache right hear.

Wasn't doing a dunk on the posts was it?

I already can't stand him! But is a shame that his education has been hampered.

But if he is as good as he thinks; he won't need to learn anything ;)

I wonder if Roy Williams helped him from the field or if he was upset with Bryant's tone and didn't know he had a high ankle sprain?

can't say that he would have injured if the pats selected him, but the fact that he's already mouthing off to the vets when he hasn't played a single snap in the NFL speaks volumes of his character.

... Like.

Na man Williams is only here to play football not carry some injured guy off. If the injured guy was a pro bowler then maybe he would have earned the respect for Williams to carry him off

That sound you just heard was "The_Riddler" crying about his binky.

Out 4-6 weeks with a high ankle sprain. Unfortunate, but it's not like he wasn't already causing headaches.

Yeah I read the whole Roy Williams incident. This is just icing on the cake...or is it?:bricks:

Is it 4-6 or 6-8 for a high ankle sprain? I thought it was 6-8, or is it just our guys take longer to do things:)
Hes should carry more shoulder pads around, might have strengthened those ankles.

so far it looks like a good move by BB to pass up Dez Bryant, and sergio kindle, but i was never a fan of Dez Bryant,

High ankle sprains are iffy in that they can come back to haunt a player throughout the season if not allowed to fully heal. It's a crappy injury for a rook.

It's not right to laugh at someone's misfortune.

I did, but i know it wasn't right.:)

Or if you're older, they can shorten your career (Corey Dillon).

:D This is hilarious.

Maybe he'll end up being great, but so far he has missed time due to injuries (according to the OP's link) and has a bad attitude. No thanks.

Heh, that's the first thing I thought about when I saw this thread.

Am I reading that article right?

Jerry Jones blamed his coaching staff for leaving valuable players vulnerable to injury by making them continue practicing until the end of practice because that might make them get tired.

Wow. Just wow.

Yea, that blew me away. I watch the Bengals do a photo op training camp for T.O., really weak TC.

Then I watched the Patriots training camp, full contact, very physical.

..and was worried we might be getting soft at the Saints TC this season, because of the SB win.
Guess not.
Pat Yasinskas: Pretty aggressive for a first practice. But Payton's run the toughest camp in NFC South since I've been covering it. Don't see that changing. Gregg Williams' defense still going after loose balls.

It starts to make sense why these guys are not performing consistently on the field, or how a supposed playoff team like Dallas, who is ranked above us this year again, can be completely obliterated in the playoffs 34-3. Good teams lose, but never get beaten that bad.
