Hi everyone,

If you were at practice yesterday morning, I was one of the two guys (my brother being the other) holding poster boards trying to get Randy Moss' attention. Well, it worked, and it turns out a picture of us is on the WEEI web site. I thought this might be nice to share with you. Check it out.

First day of Patriots training camp

You and your brother are the oldest looking five year olds I have ever seen.

Seriously, why would you want an autograph?

Wow I almost missed the caption, thats pretty impressive that you made the posters after the first sesson of training camp and were done so quick Moss was still around to sign them.

It's called a collectable. Why not lots of people do it.

Because being a fan makes you want 'crazy' things like that!

I wouldn't say no to an autograph or two from some players.

Wow, who peed in your cornflakes this morning?

It's ok. I get it. I'm 28 years old, so I should WAAAAAYYYYY over the whole autograph thing, but I'm not. I have many collectibles, and to me, having them signed makes them that much better. This will probably make me look worse in your eyes, but I actually do collect these for my own personal collection (and NOT sell them on EBAY like many others do).

Anyways, my brother and I have been HUGE Randy Moss fans going back to his rookie year with Minnesota. I won't lie and tell you that I followed him since college. I didn't, and I don't really watch college football anyway. I've been trying to get his autograph for three years, and finally I found success on the first day of training camp 2010.

I get it, it's sad, but this was a special Patriots moment for me and my brother in our Patriots fandom.

You don't have to explain yourself to this guy (whoever the hell he is)

do you what you want, and enjoy it.

Staying in your basement will never get you one.

Dude. I think it's beyond awesome! And I'm definitely way older than five. Older than 28 even. Like twenty cough nine. Ish. Again. Or something. Although I am so green with envy I kinda hate y'all, but I guess you'll learn to live with that.

Wouldn't have mattered if you were. You'd never have seen Randy Moss.

Look right to the left of Randy's head. I love that guy's face lol

What does the sign say?

Back in the day at Bryant College, I took a picture of Scott Zolak, printed it out, and went back a week later and got there early to get him to sign it - and I was 23. I had also printed out a picture of Vinatieri and Tupa together, and managed to grab them both and got them to sign it. It's just something you do, and now I've given it to my 11-year old who thinks it's cool.

So I don't see anything wrong with it

That Zolak picture must be worth 20 or 30 cents by now.

The sign says "Randy, I made a highlight DVD for you."

Basically, I made a highlight of all of his record breaking TDS in 2007 mixed in with some quotes from action movies (including Terminator, Die Hard, and the Matrix).

did you give it to him?

the dvd i mean

Some people aren't happy unless they're making someone else feel bad. That's pretty low.

I have it in a frame - which probably increases its value a little
