Has Training Camp officially began, and has everyone passed the conditioning tests and practiced except the few who were listed as on PUP or the NFI list?

That would mean that the only people who could even possibly be on the regular season PUP would be Crable, Jenkins, Johnson, Welker and Weston. After all, once a player practices in Training Camp, he is ineligible for the season PUP list.

I think that is a possibility. Sometimes selected vets are asked to report with the rookies. I think Crable would fall into that category having never played a regular season game. The 4 guys (besides Welker) who were placed on PUP would fit into guys who probably reported yesterday. So while I don't think the guys who are reporting Thursday have run, the guys who reported yesterday probably did. Maybe Crable failed.

No, veterans do not report until tomorrow, which is when the run is.

Welker and Crable have known injuries (per SMY, on Crable), which is probably why they were put on the list early. Same is probably true with Jenkins.

My prediction...Logan Mankins does not pass the conditioning test tomorrow

I think a player can be in camp and still be placed on pup later on as long as he hasn't practiced at all in camp. But I'm not sure.

He's not under contract, so he doesn't need to be there. He can't be placed on any Active/ or Reserve/ list either, since he's not under contract.

I think so as well, but there is definitely a gray area there.

Hahaha, this is a bit OT, but schefter just tweeted that Walt Harris and Terrence Cody both flunked their Ravens conditioning tests.

Pretty sure that was the point he was trying to make. Sarcasm ;)

Who knew!?!?!

Gotta refer back to Fencer's signature on this one:

"No player who has practiced even once that season or in training camp can go on PUP. Ever.

Thank you for your understanding."

Right, but that's not the issue here. It's whether a player who was *not* placed on Active/PUP but nonetheless did *not* practice is still eligible for Reserve/PUP.

The issue they were hitting on was in camp but not practicing.
