Re: Kindle injured in fall

Kindle involved in a strange accident.

That's a rarity.........

Re: Kindle injured in fall

Baltimore Ravens rookie LB Sergio Kindle suffers head injury - ESPN

Listed in "stable" condition — which, while stable is good, makes it sound like a scary accident. Believed to have fallen down TWO flights of stairs.

I can sympathize. Last month, a week after major surgery in stocking feet I slipped on a polished landing and fell feet first down a long flight of wooden stairs. Went into a luge tuck and was lucky just to suffer multiple skin scrapes and brusies. Best wishes.

P.S. No Irish/Scottish racist slurs. :D I was not drinking.

Flight of stairs can happen to anyone. It's not quite as easy to fall down two flights...which explains why he's been hospitalized since Thursday...

Forget football, just hope he's OK. Hadn't signed a contract yet, either.

Maybe that was the problem. It is well established that my fishing buddy does not get his sea legs until at least the second beer sort of like Kid Shelleen (Lee Marvin) in the movie Cat Ballou.

Re: Kindle injured in fall

Dating myself? Ack even when I was single I did not resort to that.

BTW I have never seen my fishing buddy drunk; his wobble seems to counteract roll of the boat achieving perfect stability. The first beer is usually cracked when most sane people are getting up and I like to remind him that one is not allowed one's grog ration until the sun is over the yardarm. He counter is that "The sun is over the yardarm somewhere in the world."

The beer intake also seems to stimulate the striped bass. Back when there were stripers around (i.e. 5 years ago) it would come out to about 4-5 bass per beer.

Re: Kindle injured in fall

Irrelevant. He still sucks. Most overrated pass-rusher of the draft.

Watching the link in the first post, is it me or does the news reader seems really uncomfortable and confused?

I suppose it is BSPN ;)

Why can't we draft guys like that?

No Kindle and Reed. Me likey.

edit: 200 posts WOOT

Was this the guy that was in the car accident on campus at like 3AM, drove into an apartment building(or something else that came out of nowhere), hid till the next day/booze was out of his system, and claimed/got away with that he wasnt drunk?

edit- Ya its him, just looked it up. It was 2AM and his lawyer claimed he was "likely" texting at the time. He had a DUI on campus 2 years before that too. But all was forgiven because he accepted responsibility for the damage bill:rolleyes:
ok, Im saying, he was drunk

I also distinctly remember an interview with him prior to the draft, where he stated that he's changed since that incident. Taking things more seriously, quit drinking, etc. I remember a lot of discussion about drafting him. Thankfully, we didn't.
