Pick 3 Players league wide (including the Pats) who you think will have the biggest improvement off thier 2009 NFL campaign and 3 Players you think will have a lesser productive year compared to last season.

Obviously no rookies will count in this discussion....

Improving players >

Adrian Peterson - Had fumblelitis last season and showed a decline from his rookie season but he has been working hard to fix his problem and I think he will be stronger and faster this year more like 2008 than 2009.

Darius Butler - I think this kid is going to be an all-pro in a very short time, while he was not a major factor on the defense last season he did show flashes of brilliance,I believe he will play a bigger role on defense this year and I expect a superb season from him.

Donovan McNabb - I really think this is the right team and at the right time in his career for McNabb to show he can still play the game at a top level and I expect him to have a special year and stick it to the ungrateful Eagles organization who chose to go elsewhere with thier QB.

Players on the decline >

Chris Johnson - A logical choice considering he had over 2,000 yards last year...I don't expect a significant drop but I don't see anyhere near another year like he had - Its hard to come near what he did on a mediocre team last season

Drew Brees - An Elite quarterback still, but it seems that SB champion QBs have a lesser year the following season and struggle a bit more,so I am guessing that this trend won't change.

Larry Fitzgerald - I still love this guy but IMO its a big dropoff from Warner to Leinhart and I think this will have a big effect on the Cards offense and in particular the remaining force of thier receiving corps

Going Up:
Matt Ryan - Coming off a poor injury-riddled year. Will be better this year.
Sebastian Vollmer - Going to be a stud Tackle. Will establish himself as a beast and a force in Passing and Rushing.
Felix Jones - Should get the chance to start and will perform well in the Dallas Offense especially off the very delayed Draw plays.

Going Down:
Drew Brees - Madden Curse. Simples ;)
D'Brick - Without Faneca holding his hand and Mangold now pissed, he'll be on an island.
Ray Lewis - Gotta happen at some point.

Up: Matthew Stafford, Jerod Mayo, Brandon Flowers

Down: Derrick Mason, Ricky Williams, Darren Sharper

Up: Matt Leinart, Calvin Johnson, Kevin Kolb
Down: Brian Cushing, D'Brickashaw Ferguson, Cedric Benson

On the up.

1) Sanchez
2) Greene
3) Edwards

Headed down.

1) Brady
2) Moss
3) Welker

Flame away but the truth is, it's probably all accurate.

Improving players

#1 Joe Flacco, with all the WR's and RB's and that great OL he should have a big year like 4000 yards and all most 30 TD's

#2 Richard Seymour, only had 4 sacks last year but i hear oakland is moveing to a 1 gap 3-4 he should have a big year.

#3 Austin Collie, he had all most 700 yards and 7 TD's last year as a rookie and think he will be a 1000 yard WR in 2010.

Players on the decline

#1 Chris Johnson, no way he runs for 2000 yards again

#2 wes welker, only because he will miss the first 5 games or so.. i just can't see him haveing a 100 rec season.

#3 Hines Ward, he is 34 years old and he's QB will miss at less the first 4 games of the season.

well i guess your half right... the 1st 3 have no where to go but up so i guess you could add gholston to that list to hey.

Interesting that if you were being honest with yourself you would trade your 3 for our 3 in a second isn't it

GOOD:

1. J.Flacco - the weapons the Ravens have added will really help him out.

2. M. Turner - hopefully he won't have injuries again, and show the hard runner he is from 2008.

3. A. Peterson - if he stops the fumbles, he will be as dangerous as he should be.

BAD:

1. M.Austin - no-one really knew who he was last season, and this season the coverage will be on him.

2. C.Johnson - as said before, if he betters last season WOW!

3. P.Manning - Superbowl losers and all that :)

Improve: Matt Ryan, Mike Wallace, Shonn Greene
Decline: Chris Johnson, Thomas Jones, Jason Campbell

Well Sanchez couldn't get much worse than he played last year. So that is a safe bet. He might only throw 19 INTs this season.

Improve:
Joe Flacco--more weapons, teams focusing on Ray Rice.

LeSean McCoy--He'll be the top back in Philly now.

Jay Cutler--Can he get any worse than last year?

Decline:
Peyton Manning--I just want this to be true ;)

Larry Fitzgerald--Going to be difficult to put up the numbers we are used to seeing with Leinart and/or Derek Andeson throwing him the ball.

Maurice Jones-Drew--The only player you have to scheme for on that team, how long can he keep it up?

Strongly disagree. The Redskins are terrible. McNabb is better than Campbell, but hes not going to make their Receivers, Runningbacks, and Line suddenly not suck.
