Starting at 11. We've all probably seen this a few times, but what the heck. It never gets old.

My favorite Patriots season of all time. :)

Yup..... there are some sights from there, some things that I will never forget. That season made up for so very many other years.

Prolly the good folks down to New Orleans feel the same way about last year.

It's been a mad house, everywhere you go you see "Saints Superbowl 44 Champions" stuff, it's a great sight.

2001 was surreal, I must watch the Americas Game once a month from that season, I love it when Lawyer Milloy says "you don't do that to the Patriots" referring to the Steelers bags being packed. The greatest part though for me was that the Superbowl was here in New Orleans, and even though I didnt have the money to attend, the party on Bourbon St afterwards was like I was in New England, something I didn't get for any Boston area championship after that.

"Despite all of the prognostications of doom, the Patriots have indeed showed up."

Brady - "We're here, baby! We're comin!"

It's been a great nine years (with more to come!). It's always nice to see how it began. Watching Brady - starting with the Combine workout then onto Belichick riding him in practice - and thinking what he's become. It's really something.

I remember the following summer thinking, "Well, we got a Super Bowl." Still basking in how good a feeling that was I wondered how we'd look back on it five, ten years down the road. Would we think, "Oh yeah, Brady ... what a one-year wonder he was. Well, one year -- I'll take it." Or would we look back and say, "Wow, that was the start of something great"? Fortunately it was the latter. I just wonder how many of us, even the most optimistic, thought it'd be going so strong so many years later.
