I thought they were going to sign Mark Brunnell next month after the top 4 team restrictions were removed. With Brunnell being bankrupt, he must be shaking in his boots that the Jets might sign someone else.

I guess the Jets are considering this to help Vernon Gholston. With Russell out of the league, Gholston is the biggest draft bust still in the NFL. If they employee Russell as a back up, Gholston won't have to constantly field questions like "How does it feel to be the biggest draft bust still in the NFL?".

And if Madden were at all realistic, Russell and Sanchez would have similar ratings. Instead, he's 82 Overall with 83 in Throw Accuracy. How much is Rex paying the Madden-makers?
