He hasn't been present for OTA's and I haven't heard about any injury (not that anyone would) or situation that would prevent him from beng there (like Price's). Not even any speculation by Reiss.

In all seriousness, I am not too worried. It's OTAs. Wait until training camp to see if anything comes up. I am hoping he shows well, though, because he's something of a binky. I think he's a dark horse candidate to win the RDE spot by next year, if he can improve his conditioning and learn 2-gap technique. He's huge, quick, and highly athletic. I'd like to see him drop 10 pounds and add some strength, but he's a good run stopper who flashed some pass-rush his senior year.

If nothing else, he preserves the W line: Warren Wilfork Weston.

Yep, so it's pretty much inconceivable that Weston just blew off the sessions. I have to assume that he has a good reason and the Pats know what it is -- even if we never will.

I considered that, but this seems to be the case with Price not being eligible until today. In in Price's case it has been very prominently mentioned in the press. No such mention with Weston.

Georgia had their graduation on May 7th...he wasn't among the football players listed as graduating. Still possible he could be taking classes during the summer to graduate but that would mean he might not be available until August 1st.

The reason for his absence was because of a work visa issue, as Weston was born in Trinidad & Tobago. The issue has been resolved and Weston is expected to be available to participate in the team’s mandatory minicamp starting Tuesday.
