No back to back home games this year

Doesn't the bye week mmake it not count

I did wonder that, but it is still 2 home games in a row, they just have a week in between :)

I'd probably go incognito. I've seen Jets fans get into it with Pats fans in NE, never mind on their home turf. I have a feeling a NE jersey would be like a target in NY.

Actually, wearing your Pats' colors to a game in the Meadowlands is no big deal.

I've lived in NYC for the past 12 years, and have gone to maybe six or seven Pats/Jets games decked out in all sorts of Pats' merchandise, and never found myself in an even remotely sticky situation.

That's not to say I wasn't treated to a constant barrage of verbal abuse. It's actually quite amazing the number of different ways they will come up with to imply that you are attracted to members your same gender. If you have a sense of humor about it, and stick to a tone of good-natured bantering, you can yell back all you want.

All in all, it's a lot more pleasant than wearing a Sox cap to a Yankee game.

Still sounds pretty unpleasant. I'm probably not as good-natured as you are, might be best for me to wear neutral colors.

Unfortunately, you're right. There might be pockets of humanity in the suits' seats at the new stadium, but we'll have to see. Otherwise, Jets ticket holders are a pretty low rent crowd. I'd have no problems taking my kids to a Giants game in their Brady Jerseys (beyond some OK razzing), but wouldn't even think about taking them to a Jets game that way. Their fans are cruder than the oil polluting the Gulf!
