Re: Miami, the new NFL Badboys?

I have loathed Parcells since he went to the Jets. And not because he went but rather because of how he went. This article just peels back a small layer of what a first class A hole the man really is.

Re: Miami, the new NFL Badboys?

There are quite a few Miami fans I know on Facebook who are not at ALL happy with the way this team is headed. The question in their minds is what will be the higher total for Miami this year: Wins or Arrests?

Re: Miami, the new NFL Badboys?

Some of the stories are pretty bad- did this new Miami trend fly under the radar or am I just behind and out of the loop:confused:

Re: Miami, the new NFL Badboys?

Parcels has built or re-built winners wherever he went, when accompanied by his cheer leading and psychological-needling coaching. Can he do it as a GM? I think yes. Remember, LT was a extraordinary football player and a BUM.

I predict the Dolphins will have a winning season this year @ 9-7; and finish 3 games ahead of annual March Super bowl winners, the blow-hard Jets.

Re: Miami, the new NFL Badboys?

Looks like the Patriots are now in the AFC Beat division. Thank God for our resident philanthropist Myra Kraft.

Re: Miami, the new NFL Badboys?

Will they make another video song like the 80`s

now that will be Bad Az!

Since Jimmy Johnson? Did the writer forget the following players who were there post Johnson and pre-Parcells:

Chris Chambers - DWI 2007
Randy McMichael - hitting his pregnant girlfriend 2004 and arrested again in 2005 for another domestic violence incident with his then wife
Derrick Rodgers - hitting a guy who he suspected was hitting on his wife with a chair at a restuarant in 2002
Fred Evans, arrested for disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and trespassing 2007
Kelly Campbell, arrested for felony possession of pot and Estacy in 2007
Oronde Gadsden, DUI in 2004
David Boston, Assault in October of 2004
Damion McIntosh - Domestic Violence 2006
Eddie Moore, arrested in a bar fight in 2004

Actually, Jimmy Johnson's Dolphins teams were pretty clean overall compared to some of the teams after it it.

I can't say that I can really echo that. I live about 90 miles away from Miami and most Dolphin fans I know can't wait for the upcoming season. The majority of them don't think their ready to win the division, but they do think they'll compete for it and are a couple of pieces away.

A bum? He paid that girl in his room $300 and did not have sex. He's a philanthropist.

Kontradiction, there's no way you're a fellow Port Saint Lucian?

Anyway, there's been nothing in the paper about any distraction. ****, since Marshall has been aquired ask any Dolphin fan and they feel like their team is on it's way.

I'd still like to know how Dolphins fans can think they can accomplish anything this year with the OLBs they have..

I don't disagree, I'm only going by the 8 or 9 fans I talk to on Facebook. They have some concerns about the makeup of the team, but it could also just be a group of "doom & gloom" folks. Lord knows we have our own brand around here.....

Re: Miami, the new NFL Badboys?

During the JJ era the Miami defensive backfield was full of cheap-shot artists and late-hiting punks. Clothesliners also. Punks and thugs.

I have loathed Parcells since....ever.

Re: Miami, the new NFL Badboys?

If you go this route, only one thing matters. As another badboy put it: "Just win, baby."

Nope. East Coast.

Ownership, players, fans, everything.
