Miguel got a mention in Chris Price's blog yesterday for anyone who didn't see it:

It Is What It Is A great way to follow Pats’ draft pick contract info

He's a guy who gets constant praise by media members, with everyone I've talked to telling me how they've got his site bookmarked and that it's referenced frquently. It must be getting tiring for him to keep seeing his name appearing everywhere. I don't know how he handles it

Miguel is a humble man. Send money to his sister's charity.

Any attention Miguel receives is good attention as far as we're all concerned. He's a big-timer throughout the Patriots world in my book. Ive utilized his resources and expertise on countless occasions, and he's made it possible for the common fan like myself to have a far greater understanding of how our team is managed. And for that, I'm thankful and pay full respect.

Ian, you do a tremendous job yourself. Keep up the good work.

Congrats Miguel. Not really big news though since the local media quoting his hard work has become pretty commonplace in recent years.

It is interesting that the bloggers/reporters refer to a message board for facts...

Miguel deserves mucho praise...

Indeed, and Miguel deserves any and all credit he gets for his efforts too. Anyone who can put together what he has is amazing in my book, congrats!

I'll second that

Truth be told, when the prospect of an uncapped year became a reality, my first thoughts turned to Miguel, and where he might re-direct his great efforts!

Well, since he's demonstrated a real ability to understand how caps work, maybe they should hire him at BP and get him down to the Gulf......

:ditto: His work is a real treasure for fans. Thanks!

I've said it before and I'll say it again. The media does use Miguel's cap pages often. The least that they can do is to give some $ to:

Bread of Life
511 Main Street
Malden, MA 02148-3918
ATTN: Mea Quinn Mustone

They should make the donation in his Miguel's name. I'm not saying individual writers such as Chris should but the company that they work for should, IMO.

Perhaps Miguel doesn't want me to mention this but until he tells me not to, I will. And this weekend I'll be sending my own check to a good cause and in appreciation of Miguel's work, which I use a lot.

I totally agree with PatsNutMe.

No offense to Miguel, but I want some more proven experience on that job than him.

I think BP should have brought in the ShamWow guy a long time ago to take care of that leak.

Time for WEEI,the Globe, The Herald, ESPN, 98.5, and all other media outlets that use Miguel's pages to show how smart they are, to pony up!
