If it's the Lakers ... Celtics win it in 6 :D

If it's the Suns ... Celtics win it in 5. :D

Celtics in six games, five if the Suns take the Lakers to seven games.

Game one is the most important due to the finals set-up..........I see a 7 game series no matter who.

I think the Lakers will wrap it up tonight, although Steve Nash guaranteed they would force a game 7.

For one night and one night only, I'm rooting for the Lakers. Would much rather see a Lakers-Celtics series than a Celtics-Suns series.

Wouldn't you want them to to do in 7 games instead, though?

Nah. I think the Celtics can take them regardless of whether or not the Lakers and the Suns go to 7 games.

Neither the Suns or the Lakers have proven they can defend during their series. They're in for a wake up call against the Celtics whoever we face.

true but the suns scoring is better than the celtics so the lakers wont have to defend the same way ...so should be a more traditional series. if bynum is 100% i think the lakers with homecourt have the adv.

Bring on the Lakers ........

Does anyone else here hate the Lakers more then the Yankees?

That's what I think. On the value of it I hold the same contempt for the Yankees, Jets and Lakers.

I can stand either of them and I can put in the Raiders also.

Let me guess, you called the Celtics blowing out Orlando three games in a row?

For the record, here's what I said about that series...

This one is too close to call. The Celtics have gotten hot at the right time and Orlando just steamrolled two teams and are well rested. I think this series will go to 7, but I'm not going to try to call a winner.

I called 7 and the series went to 6. Yeah, that was pretty far off. As for you, you would have rather not committed...

its all about health for the green. it appears that they are very much like that team from 08. time will tell.

When you don't even have the balls to commit to guessing or calling what's going to go down in a series and only come in after the fact (you did it in the Cavs series as well), you shouldn't try to call out people that did and were only off by one game.

im no expert and never claimed to be. your right i don't make predictions. i don't think making predictions indicates someones sports intelligence one way or the other[anybody has a fifty percent chance to get it right] . i don't know about not having the balls to make them. seems to me it doesn't take balls to make predictions anonymously on a message board. plus I'm not trying to impress anybody and i don't waste to much time worrying about people and there opinions of me on a message board. i think you can make a strong argument for both teams winning it. its all just guessing but you have to admit. when it comes to the Celtic's you have been wrong going all the way back to 08. im not calling you out i just hope your right this time.:) celtics in 6 lol

I never posted in this forum in 2008, so I have no idea what you're talking about there. I hope you can produce some evidence to back that up. As for my predictions, here is what I have said about each series going into the playoffs...

Boston Celtics' Kevin Garnett suspended for Game 2 vs. Miami Heat - ESPN

I'm a Heat fan (who does not mind the Celtics at all). IMO, what Garnett did was wrong but he should not be suspended for Game 2 given that he was already ejected in Game 1. Quentin Richardson also has a big mouth for someone who averages 8 points a game. I'm pulling for the Heat but the Celts should win this one in six.

Final result: Celtics win in 5.

If LeBron's elbow is as bad as it looked in the last game against the Bulls, I think the Celtics can do it in 7. If it's better now, I think the Cavs take it in 6.

Final result: Celtics win in 6.

Each time I've been off by one game. Everybody in the world thought that the Cavs were going to put up a fight and everybody in the world also thought that the Magic would make it a more competitive series. Considering I'm not a Celtics fan, I think I did pretty good in what I've said about them. I was also right about speculating upon LeBron's mental problems during that series and I've accurately pointed out what makes the Celtics good (Rondo playing well) and what makes them unstoppable (Rondo, Pierce, Allen, and Garnett playing well). I think I've been pretty accurate in stating that Pierce and Allen were inconsistent in the first couple of series. So, tell me CI, what have I been so wrong about?
