It just happens over and over again, amazing....these players just keep on making these sort of mistakes....no culture, no education...

Even some past Patriots have been arrested over such things. [For those of you still p***ed at the Patriots drafting Matt Slater, blame Willie Andrews for taking the express train to Crazytown.]

Do I have to post the stats again showing that NFL players commit crimes at roughly half the rate of the general populace?

Yeah, Phillip Merling is a colossal assclown, but so is a large percentage of the population.

He's just mad they drafted odrick

It's like the old saying goes. "Before you become a world beater, you have to become a woman beater".

That's the old, saying. Isn't it?

If this was a jets player we would have a 20 page thread about how the Jets chemistry issues would destroy their team. How many Dolphins players have had problems with the law? Parcells doesn't seem to have much regard for a players background.

I count 7 but there are probably more.

I would tend to dismiss such comparisons.

When you look at the number of drug offender criminals we have, I would begin by tossing out those guys and looking at burglaries and violent crimes.

Then there's the other obvious contextual information: most people who commit crimes aren't millionaires.

Is that actually true? Makes you realized how f'ed up our society is right now.

Actually, the Jets have so many now, we'd like the Dolphins and Bills to now be the concentration of assclowns. I'm not saying more on the Jets would not be welcome, but there are other AFC East teams that need to implode too. :)

P.S. - Yes, some Dolphin players end up being punks, but the Jets have gone out seeking such players after already knowing their baggage. That's the odd part, but most of us could not be happier.
