No pads today but some worthwhile stuff :

Rapoport : BostonHerald.com - Blogs: Rap Sheet Blog Archive What did the Patriots do during today’s OTA session?
– Wheatley, entering a big year, looks a little bigger. He’s been working.

– Holt looks, for a guy his age, athletic. He’s been running around and looks like he still has hops.

Reiss : Observations from Patriots OTAs - New England Patriots Blog - ESPN Boston
Brandon Tate . . . spent the entire offseason in Foxborough in the offseason program and has “done everything” with no restrictions.

Brandon Spikes has a presence that stands out on the field . . . he also made a terrific catch.

PatsFW : Official Patriots Football Weekly Blog Blog Archive From the Hart: Earth shattering OTA observations
Bill O’Brien seemed in full control of all the offensive practice action. Bill Belichick spent a lot of time with the defense on their side of the practice fields, but Matt Patricia also seemed to have a pretty hands-on, vocal role with the defenders.

Another note on Hernandez, for whatever the reason, I thought he looked better today than in rookie camp. I thought his speed, athleticism and ability looked more obvious. He caught the ball well. Showed good burst after his receptions and, overall, stood out to me today.

I just read a few blogs so I am not sure where the nugget came from but I hears an interesting story about the young WRs making a mistake and then Patten showing him how to do it right and another instance Holt showed how it was done. No mention of who messed up but interesting to see the immediate return on one of the reasons these two were brought in.

That was from Reiss.

That was from Reiss.

Probably should have just assumed :D

I also thought the note about Tate being here all offseason and that he is completely healthy(if there is such a thing) and has been for awhile.

And my favorite was the Note about Wheatly being bigger.....Anything to renew anykind of excitement in him as most are completely tempered. Kind of like looking at Crables legs to see if they are anybigger any little sign to make us optimistic is good by me this time of year when we can't see to make our own assesments.

Ahhh. This stuff is like crack in the offseason. Thanks.

LMAO ota reports remind me of potheads going for roaches. Complete desperation

The only thing I'm looking for is a wr building a rapport with Brady, everything else is meaningless.

I like the sound of that! Still surprised we got him when we did :)

Even more desperate than that....grabbing for the roaches is common.....its more like scrapping the bowl for the resin.

How would you know???? :p

I guess he must resort to desperate things to kill time in the offseason....nothing wrong with that.....well maybe somethings wrong with it......

Yep. That's about as desperate as it gets. Scraping the bowl, smoking the resin, then lighting the carb with your thumb over the bowl part and getting every piece of resin from inside that you can (after you smoke what you scraped and realize that you still aren't high).

Thanks for the reports, BF.

I always thought scraping resin as a way to mantain a pipe and get some potent stuff at the same time, not a last restort. Before K2, resin did become a last resort during severe dry spells.

JWH-018? That stiff is kind of crazy.

–Jerod Mayo was in the Dana-Farber Field House to open the workout before walking onto the field with some of the training staff. He did not take part in the practice, but watched the action from between the practice fields.

Should my knee be jerking?

just ota's give it time haha
