Maybe we can have a 24 hour disgruntled ex player blog.

We could take up a collection on route 1. Get a water cooler jug and set up a tent. Bet we make more than enough for a plane ticket and then we give the rest to charity.

What the ... That ingrate is still hanging around?! I told him to pack his stuff and get the hell out!

Beginning of 3rd paragraph fail:

"Celtics cheerleader – and New England running back -- Wes Welker..."

What do you expect? It's a gossip column written by the Inside Track Gals.

Eh, if he's got buddies on the team he's got buddies on the team.

Thomas was an unproductive player and a poor influence, but not really the cancer he's made out to be when you look back at TO, Chris Henry, Larry Johnson, Brandon Marshal, guys like that. He was no worse than Terry Glenn, whom. most people here seemed to forgive. Time to move on.

More like eczema, or the heartbreak of psoriasis.

That was pretty funny. It's not like he's some nobody on that team or anything

Welcome to the forum BTW

Why would he leave? He has friends here. He has a house here. Etc.

Odds are he will sign with another team in the next few months. He will move then. But it would be stupid of him to move now. To only have to move again a few week later.

I agree and was thinking the same thing. No point in selling his home and moving until he knows where the heck he's moving to.

I can only hope that we'll be provided with a blow-by-blow account of his move before, during, and after it happens.

His son and possibly his daughter being in school are more likely reasons for him sticking around the area for now...in addition to maybe not being able to sell his house yet.

Hopefully all the hack journalist in town can swarm him and cling to his every word as he packs up his station wagon. They can get the juicy inside scoop on all the behind the scenes ins and outs of AD's entirely non-descript 2009 season.
