He deserves AT LEAST $20M a year, for 8 years, with all of the money guaranteed, and at least half as a signing bonus.

We should man up and get on this bandwagon. Write to the NY papers, on the web sites, get on WFAN, show up everywhere we can. We can demonstrate to NYJ fans that we are fair and balanced.

And while doing so, we should point out that he is by far the best player on their team, and that he makes the rest of the DB's look good. In fact, we should call for them to be interviewed on this matter so they can acknowledge it publicly.

I remember them games, there were many shots shown of 3, and even 4 guys on Moss..but yea, Revis did it on and "island"

He absolutely IS the best in the game, although it's hard for me to see any CB getting $20M per season, to be honest.

You guys are underestimating his value of course. I suggested on the other thread it's 35m to 40m a year for 10 years with 2/3rd's guaranteed. The guys the best! He deserves it!!!

35-40M a year is crazy. Crazy low, that is. Put some incentives in there, such as $500K for every pass defensed, and 5M for a playoff run and now you're talking.

I can see poking fun at the $20M, I'd never pay a CB that money even if he's > Deion Sanders. But he really did shut down Moss and he really is the best in the game right now imo.

In the second game against the Pats, Brady tried to throw deep to Moss a couple of times and Revis was stuck to Moss like glue. Revis is by far the best in the game, and because it's rare to have a "shut down" CB in today's NFL, he just might have enough leverage to command 20M per year.

revis is good....he is top 3 cb in the league....

but he is not as good as some ppl make him out to be....

randy moss is slow and not that good, andre johnson and reggie wayne and larry fitz are good....

and he was able to shut down andre cuz his QB wasnt playing well, and he DID NOT shut down reggie

I don't know about "not that good" but Moss has lost some of his ability as a younger player. Now could Revis be able to guard young Randy Moss? We'll never know but it sure looked like nobody could guard him.

I do think he had the best year by the way, but best in the game by far?! I'd say Asomugha held that title and will do until he's no longer performing and Revis puts in more than one good year.

Last time I checked Moss caught a TD with 1-1 coverage against Revis last time they played, that isn't shutting down.
