Choices are Offensive Tackle, Tightend, Runningback, and Wide Receiver.

Personally, I would LOVE to draft Ingram with our pick from Oakland. It would make sense given that Oakland may actually be at .500 and most of the highly rated receivers will probably be gone by then. Although most of you may shy away from the idea, we can't be afraid of drafting at an offensive skill-position in the 1st or 2nd because of guys like Chad Jackson and Maroney (although not a bust, certainly disappointing). Add to the fact that three of our RBs (Faulk, Taylor, & Maroney) having contracts up at the end of the year, we're going to need someone (or a few individuals) to help address the void. As for the other positions, I feel we are fairly set at WR (unless I'm proven wrong this season) and TE (ditto). And knowing Bill, the OT spot will be addressed either in the 2nd at the earliest or with one of the guys we have now (i.e Welch). What say you?

Right now I have to go with RB.

We have three young WR in Tate, Price, and Edelman and how they develope could go a long way in changing this come next april. I think we just addressed the TE position. And The Tackle position has 3 starting caliber players though Light might be a Free agent after this season. That leaves RB where you have 3 30 somethings and the only youth with talent is a FA after the season. Not sure there is much debate to this question right now but as I said WR could create a debate depending on the above.

Running back first WR second and i think we can easily bag both. I DON'T think we will need to grab a TE though.

Sammy Morris is a free agent after this season, as well. So, we'll have 0RBs on the roster at the end of the 2010 season. All the more reason to draft RB high. I'm right there with you on Mark Ingram, I think he would be a phenomenal addition to this team.

If there is a good turnout from the Junior class in next April's draft, there will be an incredible crop of RBs up for grabs. I'd like to see them take Jared Crick to play the 34DE with one of the 1st round picks, but would very much endorse picking up another RB in the 2nd, like Noel Devine from West Virginia.

I dunno yet. Would depend a lot on who get injured this year and which of our rookies work out.

where is the trade back option?

We obviously don't need a TE in the first since we addressed it this year.

RB is kinda a crap shoot unless there is some massive talent coming out of college.

I guess WR is an option with the big 4 WR's coming out of college but this all depends on how our young WR's perform this year.

Based on the four options I see OT as the most likely position to be addressed.

ALTHOUGH, BB will most likely trade back like he always does - lol.

Not to be a pain in the butt but in my opinion this whole thread is moot- given the talent coming out at 3/4 End and OLB very little chance we go offense with either first round pick. However, if were to go offense- I'd say WR if one of the elites drops to Oakland's pick.

I'm surprised RB leads this poll. I think it's easily the most plug and play position in the NFL. Why spend a first rounder? I wouldn't mind a second rounder there, though.

Plus, I really want one of the top four WRs next year. :D

I voted for TE's.......... I have nocturnal emissions about having 5 or more starting quality TE's.......

Shouldn't we see how Vollmer, Maroney, Gronkowski, Hernandez, Taylor Price, etc. all play in 2010 first, to be able to have a clue on a good answer?

I think RB leads due to Ingram's possible draft declaration. I don't know much about the other RBs in next year's class, but Ingram is (as Patjew would put it) a beast we MUST draft! Also, I do agree with you on the premise of drafting a RB and plugging n' playing. But imagine a committee with Ingram, BJGE, Fullback (X), another 2011 RB, and MAYBE Faulk.:D:rocker::singing:

And yes, a WR would be excellent as well.

I think running backs are becoming like wide receivers: too much of a risk in the first round, and addressable in the second-fourth rounds. I'd go for offensive line.

Right now, there aren't four elite recievers coming out, only three. Julio Jones, AJ Green and Michael Floyd(is that his name right?). AJ Green is, for me, at this point, a number 1 overall talent, that kid is crazy, best prospect in years, much better than Dez Bryant, he's a dream of a player. Julius Jones is an excelnt player, he and Ingram are the Bama offense. and I haven't seen much Michael Floyd play, but he looks like a sure number 1 reciever in the NFL, from what I've seen. Who do you consider the fourth??

Running Back, FO SHO!! Mark Ingram is CRAZY. We would finally have a running threat, how cool is that?? but if AJ Green is there, it would be such a difficult choice, but such a good one. But of course that will only happen if Oakland finishes last in th league, which dosn't seem plausible.

I voted for RB. But I wouldn't mind a WR if the right guy is there.

But also, only with our 2nd pick in the first round. Unless someone like Pryor totally becomes a stud at the 3-4 DE spot opposite Warren that Raider's pick MUST go for a stud 3-4 DE.

i said RB cause every RB on the roster is FA's after this year but i think rayclay said it best defense the pats still don't have a RDE in the 3-4 or a true pass rusher.

Defense please.
