God, how I dislike this yearly Favrewatch. Why can't he just make a desicion and stick with it, for once in his life?

To give him credit, though, Peter King seems about ready to wash his hands of the whole thing. Any other year this story would have been King's headline. He's finally wised up that Favre uses him.

This.....good comment. Its too bad that Peter King and the sports media in general finally realize that this drama queen thrives on all the attention. Well maybe not all of the media...there might be some johnny come lately's still hanging around Brets locker acting like a bunch of boot licking sycophants..but eventually they will start to realize that they have been used by Brett to keep his already over inflated ego going. Frankly...the act is getting just a little old.:bricks:

Don't blame Favre, blame those who choose to talk about this thus making it a story.

I agree that it's partly the medias fault, but I also do not totally hold Favre totally blameless either, because he's playing to his audience which in this case is the sport's media.

Favre's contract should read: "Exempt from appearing from OTAs and Training Camp. Must show for Sundays in the Fall".

The Vikings have gambled big -- by not picking a quarterback in the draft. Of course, Denver might have robbed them of Tebow by trading ahead of them. And McCoy is not a cold-weather quarterback. Still, they passed on Claussen....

Oddly enough that's probably already written into his contract.
