Jets fan poll says Jets record 15-1 - only loss to Patriots

They're fans taking a poll of their own. What're they supposed to say? When I started talking about 16-0 about week 7 of 2007 I was called a delusional homer here.

Okay, I am a delusional homer, but I was right. Sort of. I thought they'd win it all. 2010 I guess is their 19-0 year.

on one hand yea, i dont even expect the pats to go 15-1, and on another hand....at least they still know who they cant beat

I could see the Jets at best 12-4 if they stay injury free on defense, but 15-1 with even the biggest homers is out of reach IMO

But at least some fans see the Pats giving them a loss at Gillette anyway

I think we'll give them two. I also think they'll split with Miami, at the very least (considering Miami swept them last season).

I think it's going to be an interesting race between New York, Miami and New England. I'm not sure why but I see Miami more of a threat than the Jets for some unknown reason.

We SHOULD have at least a 70% Wes back by the second game, maybe by the first game but even then he will be quite rusty I would assume.

It could very well be a photo finish in this division

In fact I am thinking the winner of this division will win a tiebreaker at 10-6 with the 3rd team behind at 9-7 and the Bills around 4-12

The Jets are going to fall apart like every team in every professional sport that is assembled largely through free agency and trades in a short period of time. See: Yankees, Tigers, Lakers, etc.

This was done on a game by game basis. So it's stupid.

If you ask most Jets fans what they think their record will be, you'll probably get between 10-12 wins for the most part.

I think 12-4 is way out of reach. Lets not forget they lost 5 out of 6 last year and only 2 of those teams had winning records.
Mark Sanchez hasn't come close to showing he can lead a team to winning 3 od every 4.
Take a look at their schedule.
Having a blowhard braggard for a coach and signing players with bigger names than games sure caused so crazy thinking.

The Yankees and Lakers sure fell apart in '09.

Objectivity; try it some time.

Wasn't this the team that was barely above .500, was gifted into the playoffs, and afraid to let their QB, who is a turnover machine, pass the ball? I didn't think they added THAT much (LT over the hill and Cromartie overrated). Besides, I wonder if their running game is going to be nearly as good next year. Jets fans' fathers barely remember their last championship team. So every year they overrate the Jets and this is no different.

I don't know what he's talking about wrt the Lakers but he has a point about the Yankees of late (last year notwithstanding). He should have added the Redskins. Teams that add expensive talent without regard to chemistry or system have a hard time of it. That's just the way it is. Does it apply to the Jets? I'd say the team chemistry could end up being a problem. Frontrunners tend to fold - see the San Diego Chargers.
