Who'd have thunk the Saux would be the second most disliked team in baseball, i thought everyone loved them outside of NY. Oh and #1 Isn't the Stanky's.

The good news for the Yankees is that their low score is better than the only team that really matters: The rival Boston Red Sox, who are the second most-despised team.

There are two factors:

1) The Yankees have a huge fanbase to hate on the Red Sox and up the rankings.
2) I bet some of that is transplanted from Patriot hate to Red Sox hate by virtue of the shared city.

I've Always gotten the impression that the Sox were universally loved. That may have ended with the WS wins.
