Good article worth reading but a ridicuous thread title - again.

Does this sound like someone who's upset :

OP would make a great 19th century Newsie ;)

Nice article. Good to see a man make himself in spite of a difficult childhood. Can't wait to watch him cause havoc!

I'm tired of hearing about all these New York and Miami ****s, lets hope guys like Spikes and Chung make them regret taking the field this year.

The more I read, the more I like Spikes... him and Mayo will be a very good thing for this team..

"He will be the first one in, and the last one to leave"

Isn't anybody worried that we've heard this about so many of the rookies this year? If too many players are determined to be the first in and the last out, the cycle is bound to spiral out of control. Soon, nobody will be sleeping. This is a real risk the Patriots should have accounted for.

Haha, I think it would make for a fun competition... so long as they're staying late to DO something, and not just hanging out to win the contest of course ;)

That's worth a +1 right thar.

he sould like a rey lewis, type guy a leader and a hard hiting LB who will lay it all on the field.

IAN: bring back rep! Even for mods. Great observation!

I got a "semi" reading this.......START the season,NOW!

I know, we really drafted some hard nosed football players, I'm really excited to see the guys from the 2009 draft in their second season, and the new guys. Especially excited to see how Chung has progressed, and then I'm excited about Spikes and Gronkowski, my two favorites from the 2010 draft.

As long as he's not like Ray Lewis in terms of airing all his grievances in public. ;)

Spikes, who knows a bit about the Patriots from his days with AFC East rival Buffalo, is thrilled Belichick saw in Brandon what he believes every coach who passed on him ultimately will kick themselves for missing - a winner.

:D
10chas

This kid's ceiling should make us all excited. He could end up making Mayo
2nd in command
