Boy, I sure do love the New England media and their "Sources". If you're gonna say **** about someone like that, and then on top of it, call them a liar, at least put your name out there.

I would also like to add, that what they are doing is terrible. Next wk. it'll be a Spikes beat down. Let these kids move on from their previous lives and start a clean slate in the NFL. Have any of them killed someone while drunk, stoned, or under the effects of any other drugs? Which one of them has beaten a woman, raped a woman, has over 8 children with 8 different women?

They haven't done **** since joining this team, so let's not run em out quite yet.

Oh, and let me just say that I know where Hernandez was coming from. Believe me when I tell you that if you live in Gainesville for any extended period of time, you're going to be smoking the cheeba. There is absolutey jack sh!t to do there. If UF didn't grace that town with it's presence, it would be a podunk farmer's town where the only thing to talk about is the local drought and how skinny the cows are getting.

Meanwhile, sources from 25 other teams confirmed that they had no direct knowledge of any drug tests on Hernandez since acquiring the information would be illegal...and also that the sources from those original 5 teams were lying sacks of poo.

Also, Jeff Ireland from Miami confirmed that he didn't know about any drug use, but he suspects that Hernandez' mother is a prostitute.

Matt Walsh issued a statement saying that he had nothing of substance to offer about Hernandez, but he was wondering why nobody calls him anymore.

His "sources" are all second hand. Other teams. He has no sources that have direct information.

This is the problem with journalism in general today, not just Breer. There is such a rush to get the story out before you are scooped, you don't dot all your "I"s and cross all your "T"s. Breer obviously didn't have the whole story when he ran it, but he wouldn't be the first reporter to do this and certainly won't be the last.

I do think many in the media have gone overboard in their criticism of this offseason (granted many of them went overboard in worshiping at the alter of Belichick in prior years). I think Breer falls into that category, but getting this story wrong and going overboard are unrelated in my mind.
