I thought we could "trade him even up for Branch", LOL, or for a 5th or something?

Negatory! Cut out this cancer and did it quick and clean.

On a serious note, I think BB has learned from this that he needs to DEVELOP talent, even if it takes a while, rather than buy high priced FAs. Cheap FAs who help round out the team are one thing, but Thomas was a bust of all busts for the money he was paid.

I think he learned to go for guys who are leaders on the field and love football rather than trading up for Bethel or Cjack, remember them?

Thank God. I don't care what he does in NY or wherever, I just want stupid Jetson Boy off the team. Our lockerroom is looking better after the draft, this just adds to it.

Doubtful.... one would think we hung onto him this long hopping to get something for him during the draft. No dice so cut him a few days after the draft.
