Which player who slipped goes to best situation?

I'm sorry if this has been talked about already but I was wondering which players you guys think goes into the best situation after falling a little in the draft.

Money aside, Colt McCoy IMO came out pretty well. He'll have no pressure to play this season and assuming Holmgren can build this team up as he did the Packers and Seahawks, he might be a part of an upswing for the Browns.

Someone on the ESPN site, can't remember who, made a good point saying McCoy also will have a much easier time winning over the fans without that huge contract going his way.

Nobody goes to Cleveland on vacation. Just saying. I do like Colt. How much work is Holmgren actually doing with him though if he's in the front office?

I think Claussen went to a team where he can sit for a year, and if Moore fails. Take over a team with a great running game and Steve Smith.

I really think our two te's stepped into some sh*t. A great qb, a great coach and a good team in need of a couple of guys with their skills.

Romeo Crennel should be able to bring along Eric Berry's career nicely. They are in need of a playmaker on defense. Romeo has coached some pretty good safeties.

i say sergio kindle, if he is hurt. he dose not need to have a impact for the ravens this year and he can learn from ray lewis, and even ok LB's like AD put up good number in ther system.

Derrick Morgan. Slips to 16 and goes to a team who just lost two DE and has a great DL coach.

It was very smart of Holmgren to let McCoy drop that far in order to take the pressure off him. Obviously was aware how the Cleveland base was eating Quinn/Anderson alive.

Could just as easily have the opposite effect, he may have a chip on his shoulder that he can't shake in not being taken in the first or second rounds as was expected by many...

I don't think having a chip on his shoulder will be a problem. As he said in his interview, he's had to fight for everything his whole life.

He was a 2 star prospect from a small 2-A Texas town replacing the greatest player in UT history in Vince Young. I would say he's used to not having it easy.

That bodes well for him then.

He is about 3rd on the depth chart, should move up to 2nd next year when Wallace leaves and starter in two years when Delhomme leaves. Unlike Couch or Quinn he doesn't have to rush into the starting role so maybe any pressure on him is alleviated for now.

I understand what you're saying. He did have such an issue during his senior year. For about half the season, he really struggled early in games. He admitted he was pressing. He was coming off an amazing junior season (and one could argue that he would have won the Heisman instead of Bradford had they not lost to Texas Tech and gone to the NC) and he put too much pressure on himself. I think it was after the Oklahoma game he finally just decided to relax and play football again.

But as you say, he doesn't have to go win right away or fight for his job. He just has to develop and be ready when his time comes.

that's probably the best possible spot for him.

Right idea but wrong circumstances for Tebow- a great many people had him going in the 2nd round...if he is is successful it could be turned around and called justification or vindication for being taken in the first round instead.

My choice is the less obvious choice.... Bruce Campbell.

Not only did he drop out of the first round, be he dropped out of the first two days of the draft and goes to a team that is lead by a former offensive line coach that employees a zone blocking scheme. If Cable dedicates some time to coach this kid and he decides to prove some people wrong, he could be a beast.

Unfortunately, going against the smaller edge rushers in Denver can't be good for a tackle as large as him.
