I think so. He might have difficulty making the team, but not in making good contributions if he does.

He's sort of a poorer man's Toby Gerhart among the WR's. I love tough, smart guys who live for football--though, truth be told, he's ready for dental school, too.

The measureables: 6' 2" 220, 4.55 forty. Let's go!

In a heartbeat.

I approve of this. He was loved by his teammates too, the State News said there were tears in the locker room when White finally received his athletic scholarship.

Amen, I'm all for it.

White was signed by the Colts :(

Let's the energy from the Blair White project and channel it into picking up Scott Sicko.

White was signed by the Colts :(

To be fair, I don't think he'd have had much easier a time making the roster in New England, but, seriously, who would he knock off the roster in Indy?

White would've had a much easier time making our roster than Indy's, because Indy's WR group has actual Talent, whereas ours has...Matt Slater...Sam I Am Not Aiken...Isayuh Stanback...Brandon the piss-test-flunking, crippled IR-body Tate, the lame-duck Randy Ratio, the broken Slot Machine, 33-yo Tory Holt, and 2 kids with promise.

That, ladies & germs, is a mess. Blair White could've made our 53 by just showing up. Damn Bill for not using one of our 7th-rounders on him, instead of using them on the useless crap of Welch, Deadhead, Weston & Robinson, not to mention the 6th-round waste of Ted Larson.

That breaks my heart. Had a lot of the attributes of a typical Patriots WR prospect. Smart, good route runner, tough, good hands. Also had one of the top 3 short-shuttle times this draft season, a common trait among Belichick-era WR draft prospects.

We might sign him still, Indy is pretty stocked on receivers.

How dare you criticize BB, he is an infallible god, and that you disagree with even one of his decisions is proof that you're a closet Jets and you likely murder puppies in your spare time;)

You're a ****ing idiot. I don't agree with the picks but for the simple fact that you seem to think you could have made better ones proves that you are mentally challenged. Pure evidence by your sarcastic quote.

Yes, it's impossible for anyone to pick better than BB, thanks for clearing that up:rolleyes:

BTW, how did BB's decision to sign Joey Galloway work out? Oh yeah, it was a total failure.

don't understand why he wasn't drafted...

maybe he gets cut by the colts, but probably not for a long while, like august or something.

Sam I am not, ha ha.

Torry HOlt has something left in the tank but we need replacements.

the tradeup in the 7th was a mistake, that guy would still be an udfa no matter how many rounds the draft was. I think they gave scarnecchia the picks and he wanted to wrap it up and go home so he traded up just to be done with it.

Now you did it, he'll replace Reggie Wayne and skunk NE DBs for years to come thanks to your karma. :explative

Let me be the first to speculate that he may have had some sort of special opportunity to get to the next level in his academic field (History) that he would have to pass up in order to take what might well turn out to be only a "summer job" getting the crap kicked out of him. Had he been drafted, even in the late rounds, that might have indicated a greater potential for at least a year or three of decent money on a practice squad and possibly worth interrupting his academic career path for. Sounds to me like he made a good, rational decision for himself, even though, based on the comments by the juvenile readers of PFT, many football "fans" will be sufficiently offended to write him off as a dumb f**k.

He made the right choice, because obviously he does not love football enough if this is his attitude to make a team, much less have a career. Congrats to him for having realized it and been honest with himself and everyone else.

That pretty much says it all. IF Sicko really loved the game, he would have jumped at ANY chance to make a team. Obviously he feels that getting an education is more important than competing as a free agent to play pro football. If that's his priority, good for him. But it shows to me, that he doesn't love the game enough to have been a good pick anyways.

Damn, I've been outed.
