Besides the Pats what other teams do you think did a good job? Some teams are so bad the high picks look nicer, but some teams really manipulate a board and beat us to the punch! Now we did well but pick 3 other teams that did well and 1 that didnt.

I'd have to say for not doing anything Cincy didnt do a bad job if Dunlap is anything like questionable DL M.Johnson did last year. The Ravens kind of messed up our Tebow plans in the first round(thanks!)but we got em back in the 2nd scooping up Gronk right in front of them! Kindle slid hard but if he can play they get good scores too. Lets not forget they garnered the lost picks from the Boldin trade from Denver in the Tebow trade. My 3rd team would have to be the Phins. They not only picked up a 2nd rd pick trading down to replace the one lost in the Marshall trade but they landed Odrick and Misi and a RT. Add that to what they have done in the offseason and the AFC east has to be the best division in football after the fiasco in Philly.....4 4th rounders? All that moving around they did get a couple nice pass rushers but gave away the store a little early if you ask me.

PS-No one can say Jacksonville did poorly, its not even fair. They are TRYING to play poorly so they can move to LA....Go to Vegas and bet against em HEAVY!!

There was no TEBOW plans.. When will you understand that?

When you prove it. Wrong thread by the way.

Do you really think its coincidence that the most secretive team in the NFL has a very public dinner with a player that every draftnik is linking to the team? Do you think BB would ever be clever enough to take advantage of people thinking he was interested in Tebow, meanwhile always having another less publicized player in mind? That doesn't sound like the Patriots at all.

my biggest winner is the ravens they get cody, to play next to Haloti Ngata, no one will run on them this year. and they add sergio kindle maybe the best OLB in the draft in ther system he will be great. and they add a good pass catching TE

my biggest looser is the jags they reach for two DT's and i don't see any of them realy helping ther pass rush.

Point taken, but its either one or the other can you admit to that? I was in the North End drinking that night and I didnt hear "the buzz", no paparazzi! I mean one is a secret agent the other a double agent, my point is the logic is there. But if you suggest we did all that to send up a smoke screen to Josh and played along with it even AFTER we traded him our #22....and the whole time we were planning on getting this aknowledged reach of a CB....I dont buy it. Where there is smoke there has to be fire. This isnt Mangini, I'm sure the competition was ameable. Like I said before, I never wanted Tebow and I have no horses in this race. I am not so simply fooled however, I dont expect the genius to tell us the truth like the pick will. I'm sure it will come out sometime that it was a BB promise that got the wheels rolling....but if it doesnt it doesnt.

I agree I like what Baltimore did. They've had a GREAT off-season and will be the cool team to pick for the Super Bowl.

Kindle; What happened to the microfracture surgery talk? It seemed to come out of nowhere and as he plummeted I thought the rumors could be true (since teams have medical info we and the media don't). One thought is the Ravens D is deep enough they can wait for him to recover, but stuff I read is that his injury isn't the recover-and-move-on kind.

Seattle seemed to do OK. Oakland did OK by their standards; looks like a 'developmental" year for the Raiders - -play them rookies!

Here are teams that I think did very well - Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Miami, Seattle & KC.

So Far so good for Pete Carroll shopping for the groceries.

Steelers

M. Pouncey C
J. Worilds DE/OLB
E. Sanders WR

Baltimore

Sergio Kindle DE/OLB
Terrence Cody NT
Ed ****son TE

Miami

J Odrick DT/DE
K. Misi DE/OLB
J. Jerry OG

Seattle

R. Okung. OT
E. Thomas S
G. Tate WR

KC

E. Berry S
D. McCluster RB/WR/KR
J. Arenas CB
J. Asomoah OG

The 49ers, they get two of the top 5 OL with the two picks in the first round and then Taylor Mays in the second. Taylor Mays and Mike Singletary are a perfect fit, he'll love Mays.

It's either one or the other? So you are trying to convince whomever the reason the Patriots traded out of 22 was because they wanted Tebow who went at 25? Sounds like you're STILL drinking at a north end bar. The consensus was that after the Bengals snuck in at 21 and took the T.E., that the Patriot went ot Plan B and took the corner. How you figure Tebow plays into any of this is ludicrous, but by all means, keep waiting for that super secret deep throat to divulge this Tim Tebow plot.

Wait..... we're not allowed to put forth our opinions on this sort of thing. After all, these coaches and GMs all know far better than anyone here does.

The mods really need to close any thread where people talk about players as being "good" or "bad". How can lowly fans possibly know, after all?

Maybe so. However, McCourty was not a reach he got drafted pretty much where he was expected to. He just went to an unexpected team.

Plus most people rated Kyle Wilson slightly higher. Links can also be found with Wilson a lot higher or with McCourty over Wilson, but the consensus seemed to have Wilson a bit over McCourty.

Of course, that's for a generic team, not for a specific one. ;)

You're going to have to scream it ,to get thru.....

It's Normandy!......NOT the Pas du Calais!
