Here are 10 possible picks for round 4. I'd like to take credit for compiling them, but that would be a lie. I copied this from a list from Green Jets & Ham. Ham is one of the few rational Jets fans and a draft geek who usually knows what he is talking about.

The first thing you notice about this list is that it contains a lot of guys that a lot of people here were talking about taking in the 2nd round. Names like Wooten, Sapp, Gilyard, Norwood and Campbell. Its interesting that they all can be had....in the 4th.

BTW- if its true the Pats were close to taking Everson Griffen at the end of the 3rd, maybe they might move up to the top of the 4th to grab him. He's another guy that people were talking about as a possible 2nd rounder. I wonder what it would take to move up 10 spots in the 4th?

1. Akwasi Owusu-Ansah, S, Indiana PA
2. Bruce Campbell, OT, Maryland
3. Corey Wootton, DE, Northwestern
4. Al Woods, NT/DE, LSU
5. Cam Thomas, NT, North Carolina
6. Ricky Sapp, OLB, Clemson
7. Eric Norwood, LB, South Carolina
8. Jacoby Ford, SWR/RM, Clemson
9. Mardy Gilyard, SWR/RM, Cincinnati
10. Kade Weston, NT/DE, Georgia

Pats have 7 picks tomorrow, but only 3 are trade-able

What's the over/ under bet on those 3 trade-able picks.

I am betting all 3 are traded,,,

Working off the short list I compiled from the predraft contact thread, I find 19 possible targets combining those left over from Day Two with those projected for the Fourth round. The number drops to 15 if you subtract the two Tight Ends and the Two Inside Linebackers, I've left them in for now.

Key: Visits - prospects of interest who had medical or other questions which required a more detailed evaluation.
Plain Text - Private Workouts
Underlined - prospects linked to NE through rumors, interviews, or Pro-Day attendance. McCourty fell within this category.
* Could also be under consideration for DE/DT.

Code:
[U]Offense[/U] [U]Defense[/U]
Dennis Pitta Thad Gibson
Aaron Hernandez [B]Corey Wootton*[/B]
Tony Pike [u]Eric Norwood[/u]
Mardy Gilyard Ricky Sapp
Riley Cooper Al Woods
Jonathan Dwyer Cam Thomas
Matt Tennant [B]Arthur Jones[/B]
[u]Ted Larson[/u] Dekoda Watson
[u]Ramon Harewood[/u] Jamar Chaney
                                           Kam Chancellor
McCourty and Price both came off my short list. Gronkowski's visit to Gillette wasn't reported or picked up in our news search. Cunningham's Pro Day was very late while he was rehabbing an injury and there was no mention of NE attendance.

How dare they? What scheming and sneaking!

Besides the list above, my short list still has 61 possible targets for the 5th-7th rounds including Priority Free Agents. NE worked out quite a tidy number of prospects from the various reports we gathered.

Good list. If this is really a deep draft, there are gems remaining to be found.

Pats have 8 picks tomorrow.

They have a 4th, 5th, 6th, and 5 seventh.

1. Akwasi Owusu-Ansah, S, Indiana PA Sorry Ken. I don't see the Pats looking at him.

I like the other players you mention. But I'd also like to throw out Scott Sicko, Mickey Shuler, Jameson Konz, Scott Long, Blair White, Freddie Barnes, JuanMorris Stuart, Matt Tennant.

David Reed has to be one of the BPA's left. Carlton Mitchell is another receiver in a deep class that would represent good value on day 3

When I read these details my brain hurts... some folks really get into the draft, and do it well.
