Posted this in the Draft forum as well, but according to AM 810 in KC, Kindle needs microfracture surgery and is the reason for the fall.

Microfracture surgery is a huge red flag for basketball players, for a football player, that flag has to be exponentially redder.

just heard dale talking to chris price and it seems that he also is suffering from narcolepsy and would fall asleep in meeting and other things like that.

more reason for a fall

Also listening to reports on the radio that he has a dui, failed to report an accident, narcolepsy and a bunch of other stuff..

I've seen this a few times and have disregarded it as silliness, but now I'm hearing more frequently - are there actually reports that this guy has clinical narcolepsy, or are there simply reports that he snoozes during meetings?

He actually has narcolepsy and severe ADD. He takes meds for both.

DUI + Narcolepsy + Severe ADD + microfractures = Not On Draft Board.

Would conclude that SK is not even on the Pats board.

Hope the kid has a good life, but it sounds like his NFL career is in pretty servere doubt....

He may be the first player in NFL Draft history to go from first round predictions to an UDFA

I remember TBC took a really sharp fall the year he was drafted. In the week leading up to the draft their were a number of projections saying we'd pick him up in the second round and then he fell to the 7th but I think it was more over the concern of him being a sort of "position-less" player.

Ernest Shazor?

But it makes sense that a potentially career-threatening injury that the media didn't know about would have that effect. Assuming it's true, the only remarkable thing is that the news didn't get out earlier.

What odds in Vegas would I have received if I had predicted that a guy like Scott Sicko would be drafted before Sergio Kindle....high odds eh?

If his knee is that bad he's looking at what, 3-4 years max in the league before he's done

Madness

That really is a shame, I really liked him as a prospect. I wish him well, wish someone picks him, and wish he becomes a great football player.

Sure wish I'd known that before putting him FIRST in Out-Takes' mock for Patriots.com! Oh well...

Apparently he has also had some run-ins with the law. Were we aware of this?

Suspended for three games in 2007 for a DUI arrest and also involved in a "texting-while-driving" crash.

Plus, he has Attention Deficit Disorder, according to the Herald. Other than that, he was a very safe and smart pick. :) And there were NO red flags on Dez Bryant. :) Ah, maybe these players slide for a reason?
