difficult again to choose; alle 3 were great

Re: Morris, Antwine and Cunningham for Pats Hall Of Fame

All were before my time. I was leaning Cunningham, but voted Morris since he has been a finalist longer than the other two.

The only one I saw play was Cunningham and in my mind he is certainly deserving, but if you go by number of times voted AFL all star or NFL Pro Bowl, I'll have to vote Morris too.

I still haven't forgiven Sam Bam for going out of bounds in the Oakland playoff game.
I always liked Antwine, but I voted for Morris.

Actually it's not, which is why old time fan Robert Kraft keeps nominating him.

After John Hannah, there might be a handful of great Patriots prior to Belichick. Houston Antwine is an all time great Patriot and all time great AFL, the best at his position 1st team all time AFL team in Canton...

Ahead of Buck Buchanan!!!! NFL Hall of Famer Buck Buchanan did not make the all AFL team, Antwine did!

It's getting to be absurd but the 50th Anniversary team is

DT Houston Antwine
DT Vince Wilfork

Jim Lee Hunt is a fine player, but he's not on the all time AFL team or second team, nor on this team, but he's in the Pats HOF at tackle, while Antwine is not.

If I'm lying I'm dying, Antwine should have been one of the first inductees, he'll be among the top 5 in the Pats HOF once he's in, just vote for him OK?

I voted for Houston Antwine - again. It's a disgrace that he isn't in the Pats HOF already.

Jon Morris absolutely deserves to be the next to be enshrined - after Antwine.

Do the right thing, folks, and vote Houston Antwine for the HOF of the NEP, early & often:
Vote for the 2010 Patriots Hall of Fame Enshrinee

Will Darryl Stingley ever make it?

It's tough captain, but most here never saw him or heard of him. I believe the original hall was created in 1991 (?) in a barroom, I'm guessing. There wasn't really a coherent tradition back then.:D

Either they did it quickly and forgot, or he pissed in somebodies cornflakes, because to have Jim Lee Hunt and Dee in their without the best lineman is absurd.

They retired Hunt's number fer crissake!

A creditable case could be made for Antwine in the NFL Hall of Fame, I read a Western Mass beat writer who believes that, and the NFL Hall of fame voters selected him as one of two tackles on the All AFL team ahead of Pro football Hall of Famer Buck Buchanan.

It's an oversight folks, it's not even in doubt that Antwine should have been one of the first to go in, so ask your grandpa and give him a vote.

Of course Morris also should already be in.

Cunningham? Well, it's hard to call myself RayClay:D and say there aren't a few others (also Julius Adams) who should be in line, but he's a fine player.

I think Clayborn, Fryar , Stingley and Francis and Leon Gray all should be nominated.. but next year will be Bledsoe's year..

Antwine and Morris already have an uphill battle because of the positions they played. On top of that most current fans are not old enough to have seen either one of them play, and their teams are sadly remembered more for their losing seasons than their winning years. On top of that the one measureable for Antwine is sacks. Unfortunately sacks weren't even recorded as a stat for part of his career, plus there were fewer in his day because teams ran the ball far more often then than they do now.

Antwine and Morris both belong in the Patriots' Hall of Fame. Whomever gets voted in this year, the other should be voted in next year. Their biggest hurdle may be that as each year goes by a more familiar name stands in their way, such as Cunningham this year, Bledsoe and perhaps some player from the mid-70's next year.

Hopefully fans will be smart enough to vote one of them in this year, and the other one in very soon - preferably next year. Cunningham and the others can get their chance a little bit later.

I agree; Sam Bam can wait 2 more years. Antwine this year, Morris next year.

Houston Antwine needs your vote - every day. I've voted for him twice already, and will vote for him again tomorrow.

I never saw Antwine play, but my father talks about him whenever we watch a game together. I did my part.

i voted Houston Antwine too: i read a lot about him (i think he was an awesome playier)

but i hope that also Morris and Cunningham will be in in the next future

I just now performed my daily duty, by voting for Antwine again, and will continue to do so until I leave for Ireland next Monday. We need to end this oversight.

Voting now.

Obviously different time of day, but where in Ireland will you be traveling? I can only hope to get my brokeass back there sometime.

Dublin, for 9 days. The kids are competing in their Irish dance organization's world championships. Fortunately, I'll be able to watch the entire draft before we leave, because of the Omissioner's decision to televise the first 3 rounds in prime time. Thanks, Rog.

Way cool. My niece has competed in flute and tin whistle competitions for 4-5 years. My cousin is a philosophy lecturer at UCD so I always have hospitality when i go. Have fun.

Glad you'll be enjoying the elongated commercial fest.

Thanks. This will be our 4th year going, so we've kinda gotten it all down by now.

BTW, I've just voted for Houston Antwine - again - on the Pats' website. I haven't tried voting more than once per day, but it has taken my vote from the same computer each of the past 4 days.

C'mon, everyone, and do what they do in Chicago: vote early & often, for Houston Antwine.

Well, since this is New England, I'll say: Vote often and early for Curley!:D

Morris has been waiting for his place in the HoF for Three consecutive years now.

There's no question Antwine and Morris are both worthy....

But Morris should go in first.
