22. Patriots: OLB Sergio Kindle, Texas. (Karen Guregian, Boston Herald) "Kindle fits the physical prototype the Patriots like for an OLB/DE. They also like Michigan's Brandon Graham."

do you think they like them enough to grab him if hes there
i thought they were just ignoring him, havent heard anything connecting the two from anyone other than media and fans speculating(which is what this is but she did say that they like him)

How would she know?

Anyway Graham is a lot better than Kindle so I'd be happy if the Pats draft him.

i am not sure both will be around by the time the pats go. who do you take as your third choice? Jared Odrick?

I think Kindle is overrated and not anywhere near 1st round talent. For me, good 1st round options would be Derrick Morgan, Maurkice Pouncey, Graham, Odrick.

I disagree on Kindle. As a UT fan, I was among the many worried about replacing Brian Orakpo. He did. I think fans were hoping for more than his 5.5 sacks but he was actually credited with more QB hurries this past season than Orakpo had. To me that's a very underrated stat.

The fact that he was a very good OLB as a junior, and could have come out and probably been a 1st rounder, then had the senior year he had at DE, shows he has the versatility that the Patriots demand.

I'd love to see the Pats get him. I'm not going to call it a mistake if they pass but he's definately worth taking at #22.

I'm feeling bust on Graham,I hope they look elsewhere

Not quite sure how the Herald would know...

Yeah, I was wondering the same thing. You can hardly see them being the most popular paper in the New England camp, can you?

I thought the same thing but it turns out the Pats had him in for an official visit weeks ago.

Very interesting mock.

I don't see any signs that the writers have much information on which individual players their teams really rate, but they certainly know their teams' needs and tendencies.

Personally, I'd be astonished if the Browns took Clausen after the Brady Quinn experience (BWDIK). And isn't it revealing that 4 OTs go in the top 10? That's got to be good news for a team with 4 serviceable tackles on its books.

On graham? Nah, he seems way too good of a player to be a bust. I think he will be great. Odrick, I think is the bust. Whoever we do draft, I hope they succeed.

Why do you think Odrick will be a bust?

Odrick doesn't use his hands well..get overpowered by so so lineman like black from LSu. he misses lots of tackles just my 2 cents.

Conflicting reports out there on how well Odrick uses his hands. Drew Broylhart at THR says he doesn't use them well at all, while others say "big, powerful hands which he uses exceptionally well".

I'm no scout, so I can't say...I would be happy if the PATs are in the latter camp.

I watched highlights and he seems pretty good, idk what his ceiling is though.

YouTube - Jared Odrick Feature

He has a good personality and could see him being a leader, what the defense needs.

Why do you think Odrick will be a bust?

I don't really, but If I had to choose between Graham and Odrick it would Odrick. I've seen more tape of Graham dominating and more tape of Odrick getting man handled.
