I always find what I think will happen and what actually happens are very different come draft time, so what I tried to do was go with trends that I have seen over the past view years (for example a premium placed on OTs) and with the exception of the Colts pick I tried to leave emotion out of it. I hate the Colts and Tebow, so discount that pick, I just couldn’t help myself it would make me so happy for that match to be made in Hell.

Yes, as always I was drunk, so go easy on a guy who was half in the bag.

DING-DING-DING We have a winner!!!!!!!!! Nice mock!

The top half look to be very realistic, but some of the picks in the second half of that first round are head scratchers. Besides the Tebow selection, I don't see the Bengals taking another WR after signing Antonio Bryant, or the Pats taking a RB that early.

...while passing on Kyle Wilson, Jerry Hughes, Brandon Graham, Demaryius Thomas, Carlos Dunlap, Jermaine Gresham, and, of course, Jared Odrick. I think that's a spurned binky for just about everybody on the board! :)

I do appreciate the independent thinking, though -- particularly the pick of Pouncey to Denver, which is kind of fascinating. I suspect that if McClain isn't there in reality they'll trade down, rather than spending the #11 overall on and . But food for thought, for sure.

If Morgan falls to 16, I'd hope the Patriots move up to get him. In fact, I'd be working the phone with Seattle at 14.
