First, I think you're missing Worilds in your list of OLBs at 44. He is much smaller than Hughes or Graham, and is quicker.
More importantly though, I think the reason we shouldn't just go BPA is because there are so many needs this year and the draft is so deep.
...which is why I treated him as an ILB.
But don't those two factors work against each other? Depth is what gives you the luxury to wait. It's when a draft -- or at least a position -- runs shallow that you have to load up early.
That said...looking at the list again, I'm not crazy about waiting until #44 for an OLB. SOMEBODY will be there, but likely not the right somebody. I could see a modest trade down from #22 to pick up a 3rd then taking the OLB in the late 1st, or maybe taking a great value BPA at 22 then trading up a bit from 44 for an OLB.
I am with you on this. Quality over quantity. #22 and #44 and our #1 in 2011 to Detroit or Washington for Suh.
i don't think BB would gave up two #1's and a #2 just to replace seymour,
And this is based on what?He might for a player with abilities
BB adapts. Due to NE's long winning streak they have only had one pick in the top half of the first since 2003...with twelve 2010 picks and two 2011 firsts, it just may be this is the year he makes a significant move up in the first. :confused2:And this is based on what?
