i don't think anyone here thinks Neal is bad at all. It's Kaczur that's our weak link.

Kaczur was not even on Benoit's list of RTs,not even in the mentionables after 10.

Expect Vollmer to be thrown at RT,especially if Neal and Light avoid injury.

I think the lineup of - Light LT,Mankins LG,Koppen C,Neal RG,Vollmer RT would be a beast of an OL in 2010

I think he is a little better than 7th,about 5th in the league IMO just behind Evans,Davis,Snee and Kuper.

What a joke! How can they not have Logan Mankins ranked as one of the top 10 OG in the league. I think hes one of the top 5! Also, where is Steve Hutchinson? Hes only one of the top 3 guards in the league and hes not even in the top 10! Alan Faneca and Kris Dielman should be on this list too.

That would be a great lineup, especially if they all stay healthy all year.

Now add Brady back his second year after the ACL and not throwing floaters and one more WR and we could go somewhere in 2010.

Not to mention adding another TE who can catch AND block and possibly a stud rookie RB catching out of the backfield and I will be very happy.

He's very solid when he plays, but Neal seems like he's always injured. If he can just manage to stay healthy it would really help the line this year.

i am worried about Light at LT. I think he's solid but he's getting up there in age...

This. I think we need to move Vollmer back at LT and draft a starting RT in the 2nd round.

Chris Scott and Ciron Black I could see in the later rounds to possibly be the LT of the future,I don't see the team even looking at OTs until the 4th round.....

Light is just fine at LT. If Neal can stay healthy for the year, the entire offense will benefit. I would like to see our first string O-Line look something like this on opening day...

Light-Mankins-Koppen-Neal-Vollmer

And that is not taking into account any draft pick that could make a change at either the center or RG position.

I read that Pouncey could have a shot at getting drafted here if he drops to the 2nd round...I really think thats a longshot at best.

Have you actually watched Ciron Black?

He is heavy legged, unathletic, immobile - the anti-thesis of a Pats O-lineman.

Our LT of the future is on the roster, and I think the RT is too.

There could be a number of OL that the team could pick from with one of thier
7th rounders as well,Black could fall that low - he does need to lose serious weight,I would say he was a top OL in the draft had it been 2 years ago...

If we can grab a third rounder from somewhere, and another fifth rounder, I'd fire twice at the O-line - a versatile G/T prospect, and our Center of the future. I really want to see Marshall Newhouse in a Pats uniform, he's played LT, RT and both Guard spots.

As for Black - not worth the pick now.

Pouncey has leaped Iupati on everyones draft board, don't expect him to get by the Steelers at 18. If he is miraculously around at 44, then I say yeah grab him up, and then draft his twin brother next year.

Neal getting hurt in SB42 was a huge blow to the Pats. Neal had shoulder issues all of last year, hopefully he will be healthier this year. Don't forget that Neal is tough as nails, after all he is one of the few people on this planet that can say that they have beaten Brock Lesner!!!

If you have never seen it, great match:

When he is healthy yeah

Neal's problem isn't performance; he's great when he plays. He just can't stay on the field consistently enough to rely on him.

a line up of light-mankins-koppen-neal-vollmer would be great....

if possible the center position is the one i would want to upgrade first
