If round two ends, and these 3 are on board...I'm good. Graham may be a reach...but the kid has big upside and BB took an unfinished Sea Bass and has a stud future RT. Graham would be a perfect target in the endzone...toss it 12 feet in the air and put 6 on the board. Blocking will come with time
(I would be very happy with a Spiller/Pouncy combo if D didn't matter....I expect we see this form in 2011)

I like this post a lot. It all makes perfect sense but will we be able to get Graham? Maybe not. How about Hernendez from Florida instead?

At this point (based on this particular "seeding chart"), I'm much more in favor of the second or third options. I might even trade the last 2nd-rounder for a 3rd and a 4th. There's a ton of talent that perfectly fits the Pats' areas of need in the 2nd-5th rounds on that chart.

I like this post as well....... Lotta options open to BB this year. I really like the flexibility 3 second rounders give us. Somehow, someway BB will parlay his hand to get a third round pick and probably another fourth rounder.

With 8 picks after round 2, I'm sure BB will find a few WRs. Besides, wasn't Welker Jr taken in the SEVENTH round last year

Graham is actually listed as a 1B (11-20ish).

In any case, some of these are fairly obvious no-brainers, some of them are "Huh?" (e.g., Armanti Edwards, as a QB, in the third round).

I feel both St Louis and Detroit are in great position on top of round two. Assuming the Rams take Bradford, there will be 6 teams thinking QB in round two with two QBs slotted...Tebow and McCoy. Give these teams an overnight to position themselves...assume Jacksonville is a lock to go for Tebow, and teams may pay up to jump ahead of Tampa, #33 and #34 look prime and expensive. I'm betting one team, probably in the back of round one will get paid handsomely (much more than the value chart) for that 3rd QB slot. Also, Detroit may need to climb to get the OL that preserves Stafford's life. Will BB play ball?

And some would argue that we need a WR last year even with Welker and Moss playing. After all, Aiken has lots of reps.

Patsnut - I was just there and can confirm this is not premium content.

I like the way the chart is formatted as opposed to the more common lists from #1 to #whatever. If there's one thing I wouldn't mind seeing is in addition is a bit more detail at where players are projected to play in the NFL - for example under the Linebacker heading, either split that into two columns for ILB and OLB, or put that designation next to the player's name. Same for safety (SS or FS.)

I think the reason BB has said publicly that they have interviewed so many players is because they are working really hard to uncover a gem or two in the seventh round of this draft.

I think the success they have had with the seventh round in the past has led them to a formula for scouring the landscape and finding guys that need a ton of projecting, but if the coaching staff does their homework correctly, the player(s) should project nicely.

But remember that Jax has no 2nd rounder, which changes the whole complexion of things. Lots of folks are predicting they'll trade down in the 1st to recoup the 2nd, and pick up their QB before #33 rolls around.

True. However, there are guys like Blair White and Jordan Shipley who, regardless of their Combine numbers, have proven that they know how to get open and catch. Include Pitta, ****erson and Quarless and a couple others and there are a number of prospects who could replace Welker's production - spread out over two or three targets.

No question they have a late round emphasis on the private workouts we are hearing about.
