Aaron Rogers had one undeservedly. Brady Quinn also but he deserved it. But Tebow is lined up to have the mother of all slides if he attends the draft.

And Brady Quinn's girlfriend, Lindy is sweet but that bleached hair was hard to look at. Yecch.

Thread fails without pics!

I, for one, am very much looking forward to watching Tebow pout as the first round ends and he's still backstage. What a god awful mistake it was to invite him.

After watching Brady Quinn squirm, I would think anybody close to Tebow would advise him to decline the invitation. Why would you put yourself through having a camera in your face attempting to document your disappointment over not being selected 32 consecutive times, and then dozens of more microphones shoved in your face as you walk away wondering if or when you'll be drafted in the second round the next day?

Tebow will be drafted in the first round.

It got so bad with Quinn that the Commish pulled him off the stage and allowed him to wait in a private area away from the camera.

What will they do with Tebow; hide him for three days?

Mel Kiper: "Tebow, how do you feel of being drafted in the late 3rd round, expecting to go much earlier"

Tebow:" God blessed me and it was him who made me drafted where I was, he was the reasoning behind me being drafted and I bless him for everything".

Kiper: "eh...."

Warren Sapp.......Got Pot??

They are going to do exacty that from now on, no more cameras in the room with the prospects and their families.

Yeah, but Sapp slid and proved all those that passed on him wrong; at least he was worthy of being a top pick - he was an integral part of the turnaround in Tampa Bay. Brady Quinn on the other hand, so far it looks like teams were right to pass on him.

Here's the thing: players that have previously been invited to the draft have been projected to be top ten picks. Tebow is not only not projected to be a top ten pick, he's not even expected to be drafted in the first round. On top of that this year the second round doesn't even take place till the following day, prolonging the agony.

It was a bad decision to invite Tebow, but it was a far worse move by Tebow to accept the invite. This is a car wreck in slow motion waiting to happen.

..........

I'm hoping Clausen is gone and Buffalo reaches bigtime for him at #8....

That would be soooooooooooo sweet!

Calusen falling to #22, might really pay off for the Pats, rob someone for a ton of draft picks. I'm hoping that someone is going to come callin in the second round for Colt McCoy too.

I was going by the thread title Embarrassing draft day slides on TV. So i just took it that this was about players sliding, not whether they slid and didn't make it in the pro's. Sapp sat in that room for a Long time before being taken, with the camera on him almost the whole time.

No one really expects Tebow to get drafted in the first. I wouldn't really call it a "slide".

Are you serious with this crap of a thread ...

There isn't a person here who wouldn't love to be the slider on draft day.

Even the slider get's paid.
