I'm getting to see games as we have ESPN now. Saw Galaxy beat Chicago last night and the Revs are live against the sounders tonight although I'll have to catch that one tommorow as it's starts 3am here....

Re: hi

(Im bumping this thread because I cant start a new one and this is the most recent MLS thread.)

The Revs can advance to the confrence finals with a win or draw tonite(8:30) against the Fire, hopefully they can finally finish the tourny and be crowned kings.
Anybody here gonna be watching?

On a related note, BSPN sux at covering the Revs, not a single article on their "Boston" site about tonites game. The last article I saw on the boston site was from the Fire's beat writer... ironic and moronic

I'm hyped to see the Revs win tonight. Just keep McBride frustrated and Blanco away from the ball... and we'll get this series won.

For tomorrow's games I'm predicting Seattle will beat Houston and LA will beat Chivas.

Frustrating first half. Revs had at least a few good chances to get a goal yet managed to blow it. Meanwhile Chicago managed to get a goal to get up 1-0 on this game and tie the series 2-2. Second half has to be better than this if the Revs want to move on to the Eastern Finals.

I hate the Chicago Fire now. I especially hate Blanco more than I did before this game.

What do you expect...they are the Revs' rival for a reason.

Yeah you are right. Its frustrating to watch what could (and even should) have been the Revs winning this series that turned into the Fire's comeback to take it away. Its a good rivalry for sure. No denial about that. But it sucks to be on the losing end of it. :(

It's turning into a Red Sox/Yankees or a Bruins/Canadiens situation, one sided and always for a big prize...

Let's just hope that it is a rivalry that continues on for years to come and that the rumors of the Revs moving north of the border to Montreal or elsewhere are just ploys to get a new stadium built near Boston.

I just wish the level of play would improve...it sucks

It exists on a limited budget ... it's about as good as it's going to get for now. As time goes by it will get better due to more local kids coming of age who have talent for soccer. We'll lose the very good ones ... as in Mike Parkhurst but we'll keep enough to make it worthwhile.

What a MLS Cup game last night. RSL really earned it this year.

Not a really memorable opening week to the 2010 season. The Columbus/Toronto game if you ignore the score was pretty decent. Philly looked very inexperienced against Seattle. Kansas City beating DC United 4-0 really isn't much to brag about since... well its DC United. Its hard to judge the Revs given the main three players are missing right now due to injury. Even then they only lost to the LA Galaxy 1-0. The Galaxy seemed even a bit off during the game. Revs had plenty of chances to at least tie the game. Hopefully once at least Reis and Joseph are back then the Revs will be far better. Twellman returning will be wonderful as well. :)

Thankfully this season will be better than the opening week showed. Looking forward to the double header on ESPN this Thursday. The LA/Chivas "Super Classico" game should be greatly entertaining.

Galaxy must be p!ssed about Beckham.

Beckham's injury is really a big blow. Rather if you liked or hated Beckham you have to respect that he (to me) always put his full 100% into every game.

Regardless my predictions for tonight's double header on ESPN 2, ESPN 2 HD, and ESPN 360:

Real Salt Lake 2 - Houston 1
LA Galaxy 1 - Chivas USA 0

Well I was right on a 2-1 score for the RSL/Houston game. I just got the teams wrong on the final score.

LA already up 1-0 after Buddle got another early goal. I don't think my 1-0 prediction is going to hold.

Edson Buddle is the man right now for the Galaxy. That is all.

Revs/DC wasn't the prettiest game to watch but Kenny Mansally's two goals in two minutes more than made up for things. I didn't catch the other two games from Saturday. I see Chicago/Colorado tied 2-2 and New York beat Seattle 1-0. New York might be a legit threat this season which as a Revs fan scares me.

Shalrie Joseph returns tomorrow night for the Revs. I was already very excited for the game against Toronto FC prior to hearing about Mr. Joseph's return... now my excitement just went up ten fold. :rocker:

Oh... my.... GHAWD!

Revs go from being behind 0-1 at the half to ahead 4-1 within 20 minutes. Great great second half.
