listen closely...

all Meyer say's is "You're a Bad Guy". He say's it multiple times.... one of those is the bleep

ESPN puts a censor on that?? I hope Meyer sues ESPN for distorting the truth. Gotta boost the ratings right?

And you're suprised that a scumbag network like ESPN would do something so shameless just to boost their ratings?

not at all man.....

Urban should sue ESPN..... that's where I'm going w/ it.

I hate the media

I quit ESPN. Haven't watched Sportscenter in months. Stick to NFL Net and NHL Channel. Watching NHL On The Fly is how highlights should be done. No talking from smarmy announcers trying to be funny. They just let the scoring chances and goals (and fights) play out.

I checked the web site for WCJB, the ABC-affiliate that provided the footage to ESPN, and they don't have any bleeps in their video. Nice move, ESPN.

Yep, I watched SC back when it was cool....right around the time the Soviet Union was breaking up.

Absolutely. The NHL Network puts on probably the best highlights show (NHL on the Fly) of any major sport network in the US. No BS. It's about the only thing the NHL brass seems to do right these days.

Someone should email this to Florio. He'd LOVE it.

A couple of weeks ago ESPN was running a banner saying that Jack Nicklaus didn't think Tiger should play in the Masters. I can't remember exacty what it said, but it was something like "Jack Nicklaus doesn't think Tiger should return at the Masters," or something to make it sound as though Nicklaus thought Tiger would sully the game or the great Augusta or something.

The reality was that all he said was that the Masters is a tough event to play cold if you haven't played any other pre-Masters tournaments that year. It really couldn't have been more innocuous, but they tried to paint it as though Jack was worried about Tiger breaking his record or had mad some sort of public morality comment.

How long before ESPN's lack of journalistic integrity starts to cost them viewers and interview opportunities?

The ONLY time I watch anything on ESPN is when my production company is producing it. Other than that, i refuse to watch them. They are the WWE of sports. (59 minutes of promos and talking heads and 1 minute of sports highlights/fact.)

You're insulting the WWE with that comparison.. At least everyone knows the WWE is staged..

ESPN is just downright dishonest..

A lot of Pats fans were wondering the same thing from September of '07 to March of '08 when they sensationalized a certain story, beating that dead horse on a daily basis.

Unfortunately they currently have virtually no real competition. It's cruelly ironic that the only viable potential competition on the horizon is that of a company that was an integral part of that same story from '07-'08: Comcast.

The last thing I watched on ESPN was Truth in 24. It was about the Audi racing team at LeMans and their dominance over the past decade or so in FiA sanctioned races. It was really good, thus, not produced by them. :D I take that back, I also watched the draft a month after that aired.

Who cares. Meyer is a world class phony, he deserves to be embarrassed.

By the way, for anybody that cares I had the "pleasure" of having to sit through Fowler giving a speech to my Mass Communications class at UCF when I went there. I can tell you first hand that this guy is a douche. Everytime a student would ask a question he would huff and puff. At one point, he rolled his eyes in response to a question and just generally acting like he was doing us a favor by simply lending his presence and voice to the class. You can tell by watching this video that he doesn't have much of a spine either (based on his eyes jetting directly to the ground when Meyer walks up to him).
