Re: At least 10 of the 2010 first round prospects have tested positive for marijuana

i cant really force myself to care, its completely stupid on their part but its not novel for football players to be this way.

If they can perform while in the midst of a crippling tokeing habit just imagine how they will be when clean!

Re: At least 10 of the 2010 first round prospects have tested positive for marijuana

Anyone else find the OP's name ironic when clicking on this thread?

My reaction? Who cares.

Re: At least 10 of the 2010 first round prospects have tested positive for marijuana

From a moral point of view, I really don't care.

If they have a serious habit, Ricky Williams-style, that's a problem, but I suspect most of them don't.

Re: At least 10 of the 2010 first round prospects have tested positive for marijuana

There is an nfl drug policy in place. These players are now greater risks than they were yestersday with regard to missing future games due to violation of nfl policy. In addtion, this is of course a second intelligence test. How dumb can you get????

At least these aren't the Potheads that love to waste time sitting on their butts and eat pizza all day. Nothing to see here folks!!

I'm going to make a wild guess. Tebow isn't one of them.

Haha good one.

If anything this is good for the Pats as they have shown that a marijuana red flag is no big deal. Faulk, Moss, Tate. who knows maybe more.

Maybe this will help someone fall to them at 22.

Indianapolis: the new Stoner capital of the USA.

Road trip!

Re: At least 10 of the 2010 first round prospects have tested positive for marijuana

Banks article does not say that first round prospects tested positive at the combine. It says that 10 or 11 players who could be considered 1st rounders told teams during their interviews they have used marajuana in their past. That is an important distinction. Admitting prior use in an interview does not get them enrolled in the NFL's drug program.

Oh well...it's basically accepted now-a-days. Hey, Michael Phelps tokes and he's done pretty well for himself.

Well, Brady got his knee blown out on a play when Morris was blocking instead of Faulk. Where was Faulk? Out with a weed suspension. So it definitely does matter.

Wow. I almost forgot about that. He cost us a lot.

Brady's injury wasn't Morris' fault.

This is an important clarification. I now agree with "so what"

So what, 10 out of 30 guys have used marijuana in the past? I bet you that's well below the average for kids their age.

Re: At least 10 of the 2010 first round prospects have tested positive for marijuana

Which 10 is it then?

Re: At least 10 of the 2010 first round prospects have tested positive for marijuana

It's not the 10 that smoked that bother me, as much as the 20 that lied. :D

Brady's injury wasn't Morris' fault.

But if Faulk is in there, does Pollard get close enough to do that? It's at least worth mentioning that Faulk's weed suspension MAY have been the difference between Brady getting his knee blown out and maybe not getting touched at all.
