hahah "mysterious" I love that. His "mystery is only exceeded by his power", no doubt he deserves a 2nd chance. Or should I say 3rd, so 3rd time the charm. Cant' wait to see him come TC

I agree good attitude.

However, considering that he was on IR for two years, it isn't that much of a shock that he is still on the team. IR means he doesn't take up roster space, and his salary is pretty tiny given that he is on a 3rd round rookie contract. The cost to keep him around is negligible, so the team might as well.

I think we have all curbed our enthusiam on this kid but BB must see something in him to keep around when others are gone. Maybe its the state of the OLB position but I would think it would be more than just that.

There's a reason he is still with the team.

That's what drives me nuts about Crable. We've see him in some preseason games and hes shown a few things to make us curious.

BB and the staff have seen him for 100s of practices, been around him, etc and hes still here. The y clearly know what he can do and we can be confident that if BB thinks the a guy can pay, he'll do some good things on the field.

I keep thinking of Matty Cassell. The guy shows a few things here and there but we discount him. Then he gets a chance and does a great job.

Here is hoping that Crable can make this year count.

I think that, of the three Injury Mystery Guys, I'm most optimistic about Brandon Tate contributing this year. McKenzie might be more likely to contribute than Crable, but I think Crable's impact could potentially be a bit bigger if he makes it back.

One thing is for sure. He'll have an opportunity to show whether or not he has any game. There is virtually nobody ahead of him on the roster. I'd like to see a Top 50 pick on an OLB since neither he nor Woods have been proven to be reliable. It's certainly not undeard of that a player busts out in his 2nd or third year but hard to count on a player doing that.

If McKenzie is healthy, could he or Guyton play outside?

What are you referring to when you say "Three Injury Mystery Guys?" McKenzie tore his ACL during rookie camps last year. That's not a mystery. Tate was coming off an ACL surgery and then was injured again. Whether it was the same ACL or the other knee, we don't know. What we DO know about him is that it didn't require any surgery after he was IRed.

Crable is the only one who had the "mystery injury".

The injuries aren't a mystery -- they are, the players. "Mystery Guys," not "Mystery Injuries."

If he wasn't truly injured then I blame belichick for not playing him. He has an aversion to rookies, so he gets guys like burgess...how'd that work out? So instead of a rookie learning and making a few mistakes, we get a guy who doesn't make many mistakes, but just isn't very good.

Crable was incredible in college, scores of TFL and sacks. Why in the world is he suddenly no good? And don't give me the "can't set the edge", then make him a pass rushing specialist or something. Why did they draft him if he's so horrible? If I were him, and again, assuming his injury wasn't really a season ender if he even had an injury, I'd be kind of mad at having my first two seasons flushed down the toilet for me.

Sorry to rain on your rant but Crable was not a rookie.
