CFT: Gator WR slams Tebow, glad to have a "real QB" now

Hardly threadworthy. A college WR who hasn't lived up to his promise to date says this and we are supposed to take it as important?

Why on earth would you post this?

All this proves is this WR will have a TO-esque effect in whatever lockeroom he ends up in.

Name the last run-first QB with crappy throwing mechanics who was never taught to read more than the first two receivers to succeed in the NFL.

Please, find one.

When a WR calls out his QB, I take him at his word....

 <-----Sadly, I need this guy when I make this statement

Well we know Tebow won't be a Dolphin either

From the context, it's obvious he means "real" in the sense of "conventional", rather than "good." Reading comprehension, try it!

Heh, that's what I get for not reading the article. In any case, I'm sure Tebow won't like hearing those words, because he does, for whatever reason, think he is perfectly capable of being a conventional QB in the NFL.

It won't bother Tebow what anybody says about him, thats what real top sports people are like.

Tebow's footwork was impresssive at his pro day, he has made amazing progress with his mechanics. Nobody is saying that he is NFL ready now but a year down the road there is every chance he will be ready. He has all the intangibles to be one of the greatest, I'm certain his drive and determination will see him make it in the NFL.

Just to use a different sport for a moment. Tiger Woods changeed his mechanics in golf, which is just as difficult if not more difficult to do and won four majors in a row after doing it. Tim Tebow is in that category of sportsman who has an insatiable appetite and drive to be the best they can possibly be.

Don't get me wrong. I'm in the "me likey Tebow" camp. I think the kid has a lot of potential, but he's not quite there yet. Could BB be the guy to get him there? Maybe ;)

Don't see why not... I like the kid, and wouldn't mind seeing him here.

A grand statement of the obvious.

A running QB could run or pass at any time and the WR didn't know which it was going to be. Yeah, that's how it works. Neither does the D. That's the whole point of a running QB.

This guy did not help himself. Luckily he isn't coming out this year. He needs to know if the NFL you run a LOT of routes and you never know if the ball will come you way or not, even if you are open.

You take the simplest statement and make it convoluted. You should be Peter King.

Yeah, they feed off of positive energy, and use negative energy to spur them to greater heights. "I'll show YOU who's a real QB." Takes a special person to be a professional athlete, even beyond the physical capabilities.

I like Tebow alot and we have a gaping hole at TE. They needed to be working on his blocking not his throwing motion. I dont see this guy ever being a serious QB.

Hasn't Vince Young been to two Pro Bowls?

WR has to be the biggest bunch of idiots by position in the NFL followed by CB's.....

how come the little scrawny rats of the league are allowed to make so much noise?

I think the DL's of the league should tell these little MF'rs to knock it off, or else

I'm pulling out the race card

stf*u and do your job. I don't care if you never see the ball and you have to stay "Extra Alert".

shut up and play.

easy... b/c they are the most athletic and their ego's are controlling their decisions. They are in the the play the majority.... think about it.

Football has become mainly as passing game.
