And Welker's working out with Brady? How does that fit into his recovery timeline? Strikes me as a little early, but I could be way off, I don't follow that stuff very closely.

I couldn't care less about the Brady and Cassel workouts....

The fact that Welker is working out (I would assume that he is under strict orders to lay off the 400 lb squats) is absolutely fantastic news!!

It sounds like TB is doing exactly what he should be doing; he's taking care of his body and his mind, working out and spending time with family. It seems to me to be absurd to think that the same workout regimen that made sense for him at 24 will make sense for him at 33. All I care is that he do whatever he and the people who know him best think will best prepare him for Training Camp and the regular season. If that's hanging out with family and working out with a few trusted friends, that's fine by me. The greatest contribution he can make to "the younger players" is to show up ready to play his best.

You'd think this would cue the negative nancies to curb their stupidity, but instead I bet it somehow turns into a bashing of Wes Welker now as well. After all, he, Brady & Cassel are nothing but lazy California hippies and/or glitzy Hollywood phonies who want to destroy America and its values. I guess the only people that work hard at their jobs are the Brady-bashing posters at patsfans.com who spend all day - workday, that is - bashing Patriot players about their work ethics. I suppose these posters aren't aware of the existence of irony.
