Heck yeah. I'd take a sturdy kick at Mike Kafka, too.

Recent Patriots' drafted QBs:

Patriots UDFA QBs:

So, Robinson

= 7th rounder.

Kafka

= UDFA. :)

You've broken the code! Male pattern baldness=UDFA!

Unless...what if it's really about overall head size, which could bump Kafka up as high as rounds 4-5? More research is needed.

Thank you for bringing a smile to my morning. That was by far the funniest thing that I could had seen today and if surpassed, I'll share it.

So how much did Bryant contribute to the numbers Robinson put up?

The size and the arm strength appear to be OK, the accuracy is barely decent. He is a decent scrambler/runner. Why is BB kicking the tires on this kid?

Which QBs should he be looking at?

Any and all of the draft eligible QB's, I would think.

But you asked "Why is BB kicking this kid's tires," which suggests you think that Robinson isn't really a good fit.

So who do you think would be a good fit?

He appears to be one of the few later round QBs who has some experience under center and demonstrated better than average accuracy.

Everytime they look at a low round QB, I am going to wonder whether they have plans for a QB or WR.

They brought in Stanback, and pretty sure I read that they wanted him as a QB,,so looks like they want to have the option of having more mobility. Which is quite different from the pocket style we have had for years now.

Enquiring minds want to know,,,

Thanks for posting that,,

But I have a hard time absorbing these draft write-ups, they always seem to be so contradictory, he's good at this but bad at that, but,,,,
I honestly can't tell from that write up if he is a good passer or not.

I have zero feel for a player unless I have seen him with my own eyes,,
NFL Network will probably replay the Senior Bowl one more time before the draft, Zac was on the South team and moved the ball the best of their three QBs.

I guess according to this thread a QB with some hair. :confused3:

:nono: I want the scowling bald guys, not the jovial fellas with the nice coiffures. Kliff Kingsbury had plenty of hair and a goofy grin, too.

P.S. Mike Kafka is an accurate, intelligent "game manager" type -- a phrase that's often used as a put-down, but I consider it a compliment. Solid NFL height, but not super athletic and so-so arm strength. Plus he's Kafkaesque.

So are the Oakland Raiders. :bricks:

I like Robinson. I have watched several of his games over the past few years. He has a ton of starting experience, he has played under center and throw in the tape of the game against Texas this year. It was an amazing game and that was without Bryant. He has a strong arm, good accuracy, and mobile. He was playing hurt most of this year and it showed in his arm strength and accuracy. You look at his junior year and senior bowl, that is a more accurate portrayal of his game. Late rounder with high upside. had to get that in.
