If there's one guy in the top 47 picks who you want to avoid by all costs, who is it? He should be a guy projected to go in the top round and a half by most mocks out there. For conversation's sake, let's eliminate Tebow from this discussion since I fear he'll leave little air for anything else.

For me, it's Carlos Dunlap. Stay away from this kid. I wanted him prior to the postseason bowls, all-star games and combine, but he seems like a very limited version of DE busts we've seen over the years.

Now, I wouldn't complain about it if they grabbed him with our last 2nd round pick, but those first three picks need to be spent on players the Patriots are highly confident about. They took Vollmer last year late in the 2nd, but you can't tell me they had extreme confidence that he would pan out. That was a high priced flyer.

Dunlap's combine performance was middling, his attitude questionable, his football game performance inconsistent. I'm a bit worried that Urban Meyer will recommend him highly to Belichick.

STAY AWAY.

Carlos Dunlap for me as well.

Dunlap has to lead the pack but just to throw in a different name

Ricky Sapp.. The knee injury concerns me

I agree on avoiding Dunlap after reading more on him. He seems like a Derrick Harvey type bust with character issues to boot. In the second round, he might be an acceptable gamble, but not with a first round pick. This guy could be the bethel johnson of OLBs.

Patrick Robinson. All the talent in the world but still gets beat deep far too often.

My anti-binky is Cody. I'd hate to see the Pats take a one dimensional player that high. Especially having Wilfork back, and Brace still on the roster trying to get something going.

I would pick CJ Spiller. He's going to make allot of money off what C.Johnson did last year. He's no C.Johhnson.

Tony Washington because he banged his sister.

Jermaine Gresham because he is made of glass.

Then Golden Tate, Taylor Mays, Vlad Ducasse, and Bruce Campbell.

Oh gawd, I wish you hadn't reminded me because that is BEYOND GROSS!

He was never a 1st rounder to begin with. And Kraft would never allow BB to even consider touching him with a 10 foot pole.

But he's got top 50 talent and our O-Line could use some upgrading so I think he falls under the "Scarlet Letter" group.

Resident DIVA Dez Bryant of course...

C. Johnson wasn't C. Johnson......until he started playing in the NFL.......the scouting system screwed the pooch on that one

Wow I actually like Dunlap.

Aurellious Benn seems like an athlete trying to pose as a football player to me same with JPP.

I just don't like Sergio Kindle. Also the guys at PFW didnt like how he came across at the combine.

I see a problem here. In this thread we have managed to eliminate almost all the OLB's, Dunlap, Sapp, Kindle, JPP.

If we can't get behind one guy to play OLB for us, why are we always let down when BB passes on these type guys?

The only 1st round OLB type left is Morgan and he probably won't make it to #22.

Brandon LaFell.

Mike Willims re-incarnate.

JPP, Raw talent but he could be a huge bust if taken in the top 20 IMO...and he will be taken in the top 20.
