QB Brady Quinn traded to Denver for Peyton Hillis and 2 conditional draft picks, per @Jay_Glazer

Update: @Adam_Schefter Broncos traded FB Peyton Hillis, a 2011 6th-round draft selection and a late-round 2012 pick to Cleveland for quarterback Brady Quinn.

So they didn't give up much in picks there.

Wow, I don't know what to say. Unless Quinn is going there to be the back-up, I think McDaniels just made a huge mistake.

Or Josh could be thinking of giving away BM for another 1'st round pick

I agree w/ the huge mistake Part..... Unless if he plans to give Quinn to Weis for a better return.

If anyone can develop him its Josh but how much damage has been done :D but I think this is a good trade for both teams Orton is not the future.

Or maybe Josh trades him to KC/Charlie for Cassel. ... Happy reunions everywhere.

Interesting move by the Broncos..

Its been talked all week on Sirius radio were he'll end up.. And all the hosts mentioned how Brady has poor accuracy..

lil late.... beat you to it. :)

Cassel for Quinn would necessitate more picks for a TRADE to happen

I updated above, too...

Not much lost in picks, but still...

Huge mistake? Not like he traded 2 second rounders for him.

Kamerion Wimbley has also been traded —— To Oakland.

Why? They gave up a fullback and two 6th round picks for a young QB who could have some serious upside on a competent offense. Where's the risk? McDaniels knows QBs.

Yeah, sorry ... I missed that. We can't both be wrong.

It's all good....

I still think BQ is a BUST.......

If Weiss is planning a Notre Dame Reunion... shame on him...

BQ
then Golden Tate....

IDK.... Cassel> Quinn but Cassel for QUINN is a lopsided trade and WEIS would have to ask for more than a Second String QB.... for it to be fair

Quinn sucks imo.

If the Browns are smart, you don't draft a qb at #5. You start Delhomme, draft the defense up. Their theme for 2010 should be pound it with Jerome Harrison, and draft defense.

1. Jake Delhomme
2. Seneca Wallace
3. Late round rookie

Kudos to Holmgren for dumping the trash at QB.

Well, it looks like the Browns are clearly enamored with one of the top QBs in the draft..

They'll have Delhomme sit in front of the kid until Delhomme sucks so bad that the Fans will love the kid regardless of how he does..
That is, of course, unless they are going to have Wallace as "THE MAN". And if that is the case, we'll be seeing a lot of the "WILDCAT" from them..

Picking at 7, the Browns are looking at Clausen or Colt McCoy...

This being the case, we could see 3 QBs go in the top 7 for the first time since 1999 when Couch, McNabb, and Akili Smith went 1,2,3 respectively.

Either that, or the Browns are going to trade down with their pick to add more ammunition.

Well thats good for the rest of us. Free's up another positional player if they decide to go that route.
